For someone who buys a lot of cheap shit, I wouldn't cheap out on a torch. Get the GT8000 Bigshot for only 41$ and you won't have to worry about a shitty flame and it breaking. This thing is the most recommending torch for a reason.
I believe it's a Blazer GT8000 Big Shot Butane torch. The pic doesn't have any markings on it but it looks very similar to the Big Shot. You can buy it on Amazon here for $100. Torch works very well and is refillable with butane gas.
I have the blazer big shot and I’ve loved it so far. Got it used from a buddy who got a new one of the same model about a year ago (he had it for I think 1.5-2 years before that?) and I have never had a single issue with it.
but in the end you get what you pay for non annealed china glass, her tube is small is enough to convert with an adapter imho. adapter plus banger from dhgate maybe 20-30$ torch 40 at bb&b. i would honestly buy a big shot on amazoninstead. im not a fan of the bb&b torches the pizo ignitor ALWAYS fails after about 9 months causing you to have to return and get a new one id rather have something last 4-6years. i have had my blazer gb2001 for 8 years now still lights everytime.
Heres an amazon link just to make it easier
The black is $41
Haha I don’t live in Canada and I got mine at a local shop, but the go to here is the blazer gt8000 https://www.amazon.com/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A
A friend of mine on here who has dabbed much longer and more told me he believes that to be one of the best of the best.
The Big Shot is the highest quality hand torch that I've ever used or seen anywhere, they're incredible. It's on Amazon for $53 right now. Unless the size is a huge problem, you wont find a better torch. If you do get a Big Shot the red piece of plastic that goes over the fuel knob is meant for traveling, I've known wayyy to many people who threw them out.
If the Big Shot is too big then go with the Big Buddy. Vetor are straight up relabeled Chinese designed torches, companies like Newport and Blazer at least design their own.
So, I’m not sure how to go about fixing one of these, but I can tell you the blazer big shot gt8000 is the best torch there is, sturdy powerful and reliable as fuck, never had an issue with mine and I got it over 3 years ago.
This is literally the cheapest I have ever seen them available anywhere, I got mine for $79.99 :
Get a Blazer GT8000 torch. I broke two shitty refillable torches, then bought this one. I’ve had it for 5 years. Any solid local smoke shop should have them, but here’s a link to Amazon
Smaller torches aren't made for Dabbing, I've seen them break down quickly with frequent use & that's dangerous. My first torch was a little small ($20) guy & about a month into use it suddenly wouldn't turn off, had to toss it like a grenade before it blew up...still did the dab though-
be safe man
I also have the Big Shot GT8000 by Blazer, have had for 10+ years
https://www.amazon.com/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A
the blazer gt8000 is the best. it is worth spending the extra money imo and many people will tell u the same. doesn’t break after 50 lights like all the cheap ones
I use the big shot 8000 cuz its a little more handheld but still bigger than all the little creme brulee torches you find a home goods stores.
But my wifes dad has one of those camping ones like OP except its like 3x as big that he used cuz he's a handy man. It's so funny to see him and her mom use it, they have a dab rig about the size of OP's and the torch is as long as their arm xD
You can get a super expensive "E-rig" like others suggested, or you can buy a "rig", which is basically a bong.
Make sure it's 14mm (or 18mm) for the quartz banger (or titanium), the brand "Yo Dabba Dabba" makes good bangers, huge selection and they also sell dabbing tools and carb caps which you'd need as well, silicon non slip pads are also nice.
The best torch IMO is the Blazer GT8000 Bigshot Butane Torch, $70 on amazon
You'll need some butane refills as well, I buy Colibri, or Lotus.
So all together you could get a pretty damn nice setup for under $200, all depends on how pricey the rig itself is.
Blazer GT8000 Big Shot Butane Torch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NCZU0A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_3SQ2NBSP4KM8JMW7331Q
60 bucks on Amazon. Not cheap by any means, but I’ve owned it over a year and no issues. It’s the industry standard for a reason I’ve learned.
Just got my “Blazer” torch from Amazon, and it works fantastically. The flame is steady and long for cooking it any other needs. It’s also very durable and doesn’t seem like it will break anytime soon
Blazer GT8000 Big Shot Butane Torch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NCZU0A?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Blazer gt8000 is the best torch, in the 6 years of dabbing I have had to buy 1 new one
I highly recommend the Blazer torch. I was tired of the 15-20 dollar amazon ones that last weeks to months tops. Have had it for 1.5 years and still works like brand new.
Pros: Always lights Doesn’t need to be refilled super often Easy to use Will last years Solid construction
Cons: Absolutely have to use their special propane Pricey for the unit Gas is kinda expensive (buy multipacks and save)

Blazer big shot on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A
$62, usually $90. Been using it for 6 months now and it's excellent, a buddy of mine has one as well.
Widely regarded as the best torch for dabbing.
It's all personal taste, there are some torches that require you to hold the "trigger" down to keep it lit and there are some that only require you press the ignition once.
I prefer the torches that require you press it once, when it comes to torches you absolutely get what you pay for.
You might also want to take into consideration a torch that has "child safety" features, they can be a real pain if you are consistently dabbing and don't have children or somehow have a system that guarantees child safety.
https://www.amazon.ca/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A
This is the torch I use, simple design, large flame, heats up my rig way quicker than any other torches I've used.
I'm not sure if you could caramelize sugar with this torch as the flame is massive. But if you plan on dabbing a lot and can keep it away from children I highly recommend it.
That review was perfect. Thank you so much. Couple questions. Are you supposed to be torching the bud while you are inhaling? Seems kind of hard not the combust the bud.
Also I just purchased this torch. Surely that’s wayyyy too big for this device. Right? Blazer GT8000 Big Shot Butane Torch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NCZU0A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_rxJsBb9ABNYK9
How are you cooking? I'm mostly familiar with sous vide, but it has some similarities with reverse searing. I use a powerful butane torch to finish my steaks and burgers. My dad, when he has some extra hands around, does a combo with a super hot butter filled cast iron. One person torches the top and the other bastes with the butter, but I think this is more complicated than needed. I'm very happy with just a torch. I use https://www.amazon.com/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A
I use the torch for dabbing too, it's very well made.
http://www.amazon.com/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A
This one's a bit pricey but seriously worth every penny. The picture doesn't do it justice, the tip is easily an inch wide (bigger than any other torch I've come across) and the flame is about 4+ inches long. It's one large cone of flame with a needle-pointed smaller flame inside it, much more precise than the WalMart blow torches most people use that has 3 small flames around one large cone of flame. I only have to fill it once a week, maybe every two weeks, with daily use. It heats my domeless nail to glowing orange in about 10 seconds, and in the time it takes me to set the torch down and grab a dab, it's cooled to the perfect temperature.
Blazer GT8000 Big Shot Butane Torch
I got one of these for my birthday. It's not as powerful as one of the nozzles that fits on the large butane tanks, but it's a great compromise between compact size and power.
the Blazer GT8000 is definitely the most durable.
http://www.amazon.com/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A
I've had vectors and others, but this one is way more solid. The lighting mechanism still works the first time after 100s of uses per week for 3 years
biggest flame in a butane torch on the market. Should be similar in size to that can clip on torch I mentioned but built better
I purchased some spare titanium screens and a quad torch from Dynavap. I spent a good hour yesterday reading about torches. I'd like to pick up one of those creme' brulee torches from Bed Bath and Beyond this weekend too. Reddit says they're exactly the same as those pricey torches on Amazon and they heat you up in about 2 seconds.
I take one of this:
https://www.amazon.com/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A
and something like a metal mug that can take flame:
and you can brew your tea anywhere. I take a gaiwan and abig cup and brew away like a boss.

youre welcome
I always carry a blow torch and a small 300 ml pot and i can boil water anywhere.
https://www.amazon.com/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A
that will last years nad prolly boils 200ml of water in 90 secs or so...
https://www.amazon.com/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A not this blazer
Over a year heavy heavy use and no issues. Best torch I’ve ever owned in 12 years dabbing.
Buy a good one. Yeah, they're pricey but will outlast several cheap ones. This is the one many prefer:
https://www.amazon.com/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A
Remember that butane is heavier than air, so when refilling, but sure to wait a minute or two before lighting - you wouldn't want a "puddle" of butane at your feet when you ignite the torch.
Watch a few YouTube videos of how to purge and refill the torch. Refilling properly is worth learning.
Don't set the cat on fire. :-)
I believe I can be of some assistance here. Garysaid(what) that the [bernzomatic ] propane torch (https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwjRzMLw8t31AhUXIa0GHTr8CckYABAGGgJwdg&ohost=www.google.com&cid=CAESWOD27VKZ8wL-Lw91cT6EHZctFqMldhqoCNQphbuKBuNgbmpMS3WYII_NmyHB7aZohYlvl2t_eOpO7G46Tnl-sOivSWE4_6REGuHzCWT8FCX8v...) is much better than the blazer butane torch and that they see butane act up just as much as propane thus causing them to have disbelief in the argument that butane is safer than propane. They are also awaiting something definitive on the matter of propane vs butane. Gary said the propane looks much too weird for the guests he has over. Til next time on, garysaidwhat…
Amazon is just the company that sells them. Just get a good brand: https://www.amazon.com/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A/ref=sr\_1\_2?keywords=blazer+torch&qid=1638946123&sr=8-2

I use this torch and a terpometer. My go to temp is 530-510 so I don't scorch my throat. Cheaper option is to get an IR thermometer.. if you have pets try and get one that doesn't beep lol

u need at least a really powerful butane one, like this: https://www.amazon.com/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A and even that will BARELY melt it enough for making bronze coins n sstuff
Get your own Quad Glacier.
I'm flipping you off as hard as I can.
So my friend purchased the Blazer Big Shot GT 8000 but it was $100 at the time. I told him he was crazy spending that much. After using it, I still thought he paid too much but it's a nice torch. It's made in Japan and has no safety button :) The price dropped in price to $60 in Dec on Amazon and I purchased it. Now it's back up to $81 https://www.amazon.ca/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1546630791&sr=8-1&keywords=Blazer+GT8000+Big+Shot+Butane+Torch

I like buying things once and this seems like one of those items.
open air gas burning temps arent the same as they burn when using a torch.
propane torches burn 1,000°f hotter than butane torches. butane torches are also way less likely to chaz your bangers as they burn at a much lower temp. you really gotta go crazy or be dumb for it to chaz with butane usage.

its not that propane isnt safe to use its that its not safe to use incorrectly and unsafely. propane is a much a more volatile gas than butane, it can explode from just heavy impacts and or spark. it can also even cause asphyxiation and death along with other health risk if the propane is left running or leaking without ignition. when you factor in the dabbed out broke young stoners that use propane torches and their life style and just general ways of thinking it becomes a rather dangerous gas to have casually sitting in ones bedrooms and living rooms.
tthere are health risk involved with any gas usage for example this link explains the dangers involved with gas/propane oven usage and why it is a top 5 preventable health risk in the world right now. but that doesnt really apply to us becasue of the smaller amounts of gas and smaller amounts of time spent inside the gas. so it is bad for your health as you can tell by the numbers and the very serious caused health symptoms from the link, but in our normal usage situations its not as big of a factor but its still a factor as you are still inhaling propane. bottom line is butane is like $20 a year more expensive and is not only better to use in a practical sense its also much safer to use in every aspect as well. its borderline moronic to use propane.

$50 with free shipping on Amazon or $40 from this hardware store. So it's just $50 max for a brand new torch... Not $85 for that shitty, used combo. I need what you're smoking if you think you have a good deal haha!
Good try though.

It's way worth it
This for sure. The GT8000 bigshot is the best I've seen and definitely worth the extra few bucks
I use butane. I suggest getting https://www.amazon.com/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A and filling it up with some decent quality butane. Also, to preserve the life of your banger, use one dry q tip after taking your dab. Then you should wait about 5-10 mins, and use a qtip that has 90+% alcohol on it. If you follow this, you should be able to hold onto bangers for years.

It's definitely the best under $100.
Interesting. I was thinking one of these used on the glass directly on the other (inside) side of the glass under each of the suction cups. The idea being that it would heat and expand any residual air under each cup and possibly causing the cup to 'pop' off the glass...
So you need some way to get whatever you are dabbing off of hot, a torch is the best bet for this. The Big Shot is a personal favorite. You can also get an E/D/G Nail and that will work too but those are $$$.
Before I talk about nails or rig vs bong, its important that you understand joints, as most rigs come with male joints and that is what you need to do a traditional nail/dome setup. Male joints look like this while female joints are what are on your typical GonG bong. Both joint sizes come in 10, 14, or 18mm (18.8 so a lot of places call it 19, but 18, 18.8, and 19 are all the same sizes). You can get nails/concentrate setups for any type of joint you have.
As far as nails go, I really prefer ceramic or quartz over titanium, but then you do risk the chance of it breaking and good quartz/ceramic is expensive and breakage really sucks. Don't get a glass nail, as they will not hold heat well at all.
As far as the bong vs rig, you can definitely use your bong if you want, but I find bongs have way too much exposed glass to get good hits off of. By this I mean that they are just too big. Concentrates vape and the vapor sticks like crazy to glass, so really to get the most effective hit you want as little extra glass as possible in your rig. nbd_glass on IG is doing a giveaway every day in July, and I know he's giving out a few rigs so start following him and you could get lucky.
Make sure you get either an attachment for your bong to make it inline (where the final part where you put your bowl/nail whatever is vertical) or you get some sort of nail that works on a 45 degree angle. Quartz bangers like this one will go straight into a bong downstem. (Although I wouldn't necessarily buy a quave cus they are very expensive...but the best)
Edit:fixed one of the links
Blazer off of amazon. I went through 3 torches from bed bath and beyond before I said fuck it. Best $50 ever and somebody here recommended it to me. Said Torch
