We had an ugly sweater competition at my church last year. Me, being a reasonable person, decided that I was going to win, and win big. So, that day at work, I wore the sweater. It's an ugly unicorn sweater. My coworkers and I were laughing and having a good time, then we took a picture and sent it to my boss, his boss, and our lead developer.

I got a reply back saying, "I don't think this sweater is safe for work..." what? le sweater

I didn't realize what made the sweater special when I bought it. So, of course, I wore it anyway! I decided to go see star wars with a friend rather than go to the ugly sweater competition. The ticket lady looked at my lady friend and I overheard her say, "You let him leave the house like that?" We then went to a bistro bar and got a round of free drinks.

And yes, had I not gone to the movie, I would have won that church competition!
