stock seems fine, it's just odd that all my other tanks (even with the same wood) didn't drop this far at all... and are all around a steady 7.0 now... most tanks needed peat to bring it down... now i'm having the opposite problem with this tank.

it's just that i got a 'talking' by the lfs when i talked to them about ph tolerance of certain fish and what to do. Got told i needed to buffer more... and to use baking soda slowly.
