Figure out what reward your dog will do anything for, stay patient, practice, and always end a training session with something they know so it's PAWSitive. They really do want to please you, they just need to know how. This does the trick for my dog! Maybe try teaching your dog to stand on 2 legs next. You can hold the treat above them while saying up and when they do it, give them the treat!
