I will do some research on an RO for my setup. It would be nice to autofill my humidifier and my water levels from a constant supply of 0ppm water.
Pair that with this BlueLab dosing kit and walk away.
Thanks for the tips all!
This BluLab Device allows to add either pH up or down but not both if you pH passes a certain threshold that is set by the user
Something like this?
Bluelab CONTPH pH Controller with Monitoring and Dosing in Water, Digital Meter for Hydroponic System and Indoor Plant Grow with Easy Calibration https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00O9CBYZ0/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_Y58TDJ83AXFXW0K6X4QW
Never used one before but believe this is what you're looking for.
I would expect they would need semi regular calibration still.
They certainly appeal to my laziness. I never have to worry about my plants going thirsty. I have one of these that keeps the pH where I want it for ultimate laziness.
Just don't cheap out on the DripClean and make sure you keep it sterile. The only time I had problems was due to clogged lines. Every other week I add 8oz of H2O2 to the reservoir and 30ml of DripClean once a month.
Bluelab has a pH doser that doesn't have connectivity nor a touchscreen and only one pump ranging from $370 to $469, so I thought that price was comparable. I could be wrong, but it would be nice to not have to adjust/dose pH manually or take those measurements.
I'm a little bit shocked no one has suggested a pH doser.
Bluelab makes a great pH doser, I have two that have been working flawlessly for years.
Sounds like you may have one of these one day so I would strongly suggest... Bluelab CONTPH pH Controller with Monitoring and Dosing of Solution pH Levels https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O9CBYZ0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_1SNDN4MYHVV3BY0Y5YPP
