if you already own a drill, get one of these and some small tubing to get it pretty much dry..... how I clear all the water out of a toilet when I am lucky enough to have to change them out.

If you're really trying to speed things along, purchase a drill pump and a couple dozen feet of plastic hose. Those things have saved me from bailing out washers more times than I can count. They don't have the longest life span but they will save you soooo much time, especially if you're already draining from another location.

Aside from the regular siphon sucking through a hose, method, there is an attachment for a drill, that you can attach two lengths of hose to, and it creates pressure enough to pull water quite a distance.
