Just to give my two cents on the Bluetooth dongle experiance, i have like 5 different dongles and a bunch of laptops tested (don't ask why I have so many devices)
Anything 5.0+ looks to be working perfectly for me on Windows 10 and 11 with the correct drivers. Anything below 5.0 has some odd lag spike issue and seems to be pretty limited on distance and also signal interference.
The dongle with best latency i have atm is the "ZEXMTE USB Bluetooth 5.1" one pretty cheap and easy to setup. just make sure you have the correct Realtek drivers. I never use the ones included in the box or automatically installed by windows, those are just riddled with issues.
All you do to make sure you have the correct software is plug the dongle and in device manager check the hardware details. In this case for the above dongle i needed https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/rtl8723ds-software
