I bought one off of Amazon for $20 just like that one but it also has a spot to stick the charge handle to keep it dry.

Looks good except for the garden hose holding the cable. Buy this instead

Yeah, just hit the test button to trip the breaker, then push the handle all the way to the off position, then back to the on position.
There shouldn't be any issue with leaving the charger plugged in all the time. I like having one of these nearby to keep the cable neat, and prevent water entry to the part of the charger that actually connects with the car.
I use this and it works great

No problem. It works perfect. I do like this better though and may replace the cord organizer. It’s like a supercharger holder.

After a month with no home charger, I was finally able to install my DIY charging station! The Model Y with no home charger wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but let me tell you, it's so much nicer to get in and have a full charge every single day. Superchargers are good in a pinch but I was getting really tired of the 20-30 minute stops every 4-5 days.
I live in a condo (which I own) but I technically rent my parking space, so I needed to install something that was moderately pretty and adaptable in case my parking situation changes. The building paid for the electrical work (which is why it took a frigging month) but I took care of the endpoint hardware and enclosure.
The structure is just scrap plywood, PVC trim board, and outdoor acrylic paint. The equipment inside is this electrical panel ( https://www.homedepot.com/p/203393687 ) and this charger hook ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0799GVJWN/ )
Total cost to put it all together was about $200. The actual electrical work, since it involved overhauling my box service and digging an underground trench, was $$$$.
congrats. welcome to the family. Depending on what is behind your Tesla, you can mount this on the left side to keep the cord neater and shorten the distance.
Amazon sells something similar.

The only reason to get a Tesla wall charger (for the SR+) is if you don't want to have the outlet + charger combo on your wall and like the clean installation of the wall connector.
Getting a 14-50 adapter and using your mobile charger at home, or a separate mobile charger dedicated to home use, will provide maximum charging rate and be less expensive than a wall connector.
Look on Amazon or Tesla accessory sites for a plastic cable holder you can mount on the wall, they give you a nice place to hang the excess charging cable and connector end when you aren't charging.
I bought this. Works great.
Of course. Here you go.
