If you want to cheap out, you can buy knee pads that aren't specifically for paintball on Amazon for cheaper than any pair of paintball knee pads. As for elbow pads, you'd have to look at paintball specific ones as far as I know. Most people like Exalt and PE elbow pads.

You'll be fine. I got some squishy generic ones that worked just fine until i bought a set of real pads. Something is better than nothing. I think the more purpose designed pads will do a better job protecting from injury.

For you and for whomever else was wondering. These are great. They take a few days of pinching behind the knees before they get broken in but they've done me really well for the last month or so and make a big difference.

I just got these and like them a lot. I just want some light padding, these are light and inexpensive. The back of my legs had to get used to them as they were a little rough on my legs at first. BodyProx

I also liked these, but after a while the padding inside would bunch up and would be a pain in the ass. Cliff Keen Wraptor
