Cutting a full 4x4 in one go is a real "nice to have", but looks like I was being overly ambitious, not possible, so all good. Was a dream, that dream is no longer valid.

So I don't have the physical space for a "real" table saw. I've got a good sized back patio and I'm renting, and I do have a place I can store it out of the elements. But fundamentally it needs to be something I can "put away". So sorry, can't get a proper standing table saw. Would love to.

For the router, I'm eyeing this Bosch, but haven't made the plunge yet. I suppose I can use it, with guides, for most 'dado' type work. And true, multiple small passes with a regular blade on a table saw can give a similar result.
