My tap water and ice taste SO BAD...

I'm looking at this $80 pump thing they sell on Amazon to pump 5 gallon bottled water to the icemaker and disconnecting it from the house plumbing completely.

We already use bottled water (from a water station, .25/gal) for making coffee, tea, etc.

I'm limiting the ice in my soda's to like 2 or 3 cubes because it "contaminates" the taste of my beloved Dr. Pepper.

I swear to god when I brushed my teeth yesterday the tap water smelled like sewer.

Espresso Cart:

• IKEA BROR Utility Cart - sealed with Dark Walnut Danish Oil
• Promac (Laranzato) Club ME (came from my family's old restaurant, I rebuilt it)
  • Fun fact: it has a Particle inside and is connected to the cloud and my Apple HomeKit. Heats up automatically in the morning too.
• 1/2 HP grinder (Laranzato) (same as above)
• Pump w/ pressure drop sensor and auto shutoff
• Accumulator - this is a must for an espresso machine to save the pump
• Rinser - worth every penny
• Faucet - had to put a valve inline to reduce the flow rate, but works great
• Knock Box - works okay, but it's very firm
• Scale - amazing
• Electric Kettle - this is just okay... but great for proper temp Americanos
• Dosing Ring - a must
• The rest of the tools are all from Espresso Parts

I have one jug for supply and one for the drain. Everything is plumbed together with 1/4" OD tubing and quick connectors.

I plan to close up the sides and put a dark fabric on the front, so moisture can escape. Note that the back panel is just a shelf that fit perfectly. Just had to drill some new holes on the shelf.

Plumb it in my brother, you won't regret it.
