Yes! - Use Tune2Air. I had tried a few different bluetooth adapters from Amazon, hesitant to shell out for the Tune2Air, and I just kept returning them after realizing their limited functionality (if any) with the car. While the Tune2Air still leaves a little to be desired, overall it seems to be my best option. And its about 30% off on Amazon right now
>no Bluetooth streaming
I have a 2011 A4 and after many aux cords, I decided to just get the Tune2air adapter that sits in my glove box. It works great, and I have had no issues with sound. I'd highly recommend it, if you don't mind the $85. You also need the 30 pin MMI connect as well, but those are relatively cheap.
I have a 2010 S5, and I had the same issue. After some searching I found people pointing to this:
http://www.amazon.com/ViseeO-Tune2air-WMA1000-Bluetooth-Integration/dp/B00B52LLJ6
It works fairly well. It works flawlessly with music stored locally, and if you're a streamer (Spotify, etc) then just make sure you have one song stored local to trick it into working. Once I figured that out I've had no issues at all.
> In the glove compartment. Should be a little cable plugged in already, at least setup for iphone 4s and below. Bluetooth covers all of your normal calling needs, and if you want to stream your music over bluetooth, and don't have the fancier navigation package and all that, you will need an adapter like this guy here.
Do you have an iPod plug? IIRC the 997.1 came with an option to have a 30-pin iPod connector and AUX port. The downside is, compared to the 997.2, it didn't have a USB port, which you'll need to power the Bluetooth unit. However, you can just get something to put in your cigarette lighter with a USB plug.
I use this module and works pretty well.

Boove 1000 Canada link down here, if your in US I'm sorry. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00B52LLJ6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_X8QDEVSQTAZZWVP3C144?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 I use it daily on my 09 g37x sedan. steering wheel controls work as well as everything. If you want more help just send me a dm. I'll tell you exactly how I did it and even send some pics.
Does yours have the ipod port in the center console cubby? Mine does, and this device does all but #4 on your list (although I have an android, with an iPhone it may work properly)

2010 S5 with the 4.2 V8 and a six speed manual here.
Drivetrain wise, this has been the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. No issues with the engine/transmission. There is a lot of chatter out there online regarding carbon build up since it’s a direct injection engine, but I’ve never had a cleaning done (and I’ve asked my dealer multiple times if they felt I should get it done; bought the car with 28k miles on it in 2014, and it’s at 73k now). I feel like if I hold onto it for much longer I may force the issue with the dealer.
Can’t speak to the oil filter, I’ve always had shops do mine.
The only recurring problem I’ve had is the sunroof drains in the A pillars. Over 4 years of ownership, I’ve had both the driver and passenger side drain go wonky and cause leakage into the cabin. The repairs were sizable, since they had to take apart the sunroof due to it being non retractable (~$700 each time, mostly labor).
Realistically I think I’m averaging somewhere around 18/19 with mixed driving.
The V8 model natively supports Bluetooth calls, but if you want Bluetooth music, you can get one of these adapters and plug it into the MMI jack. Works pretty flawlessly. https://www.amazon.com/Bovee-Wireless-Bluetooth-Interface-Integration/dp/B00B52LLJ6
>Get one of these. I use it in my 2011 S4 all the time. > >https://www.amazon.com/Bovee-Wireless-Bluetooth-Interface-Integration/dp/B00B52LLJ6
Hey so I am finally looking at this since my SiriusXM is expired now. Does it support android stuff because I despise apple and it just says iPhones and iPods.
I just solved this problem for my 2011 A4, had to purchase an adaptor from amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/Bovee-Wireless-Bluetooth-Interface-Integration/dp/B00B52LLJ6
Note: this allows me to play spotify through the car, but the songs dont show up on the MMI properly, they are all just listed as "spotify", so I still have to pick the songs on my phone, or have a pre set playlist. Kinda like a half solution.
I got a 30 pin stereo Bluetooth adapter to use on the iPod interface, works like a boss. No issues being paired to this and the car at the same time.

I have an S4 Premium Plus with the B&O sound, carbon inlays, and sport differential. I feel that it offers just enough bells and whistles. At times I wish I had a backup camera when parallel parking, but other than that I have never found myself wanting nav (phone does it better), and I have one of these which makes streaming Bluetooth pretty seamless.
Yeah, B8.5 modules (>=2013) have an option for both Bluetooth ADP music streaming and phone. B8 models only have Bluetooth for phone and can't stream music.
This little bugger did the treat for me to allow my both music streaming and still using the car's bluetooth for a phone connection.
As someone else mentioned, check that out. The sales dude at Audi actually suggested it to me over the $90 cable they sell. It's bluetooth, and this will allow you to use Pandora, maps program of your choice, as well as the ipod on your phone.
And I bought a USB adapter and keep it in the console between the seats, so I can easily plug in as needed for power. Works way better than messing with the glove box (which I keep locked).
Do you have an iPod dock in your glove box? If so then this is what I use and you dont need a AUX jack - ViseeO Tune2air WMA1000 - Wireless Bluetooth Music Interface Adapter for Car Audio Integration
I recently bought a 2011 S4 Premium Plus + sports rear diff ... looks almost exactly the same (tri spoke wheels and all). I love this car... a lot!
This seems like a pretty decent price considering the mileage. Mine had 40k on the clock, but was a few thousand cheaper.
Certified Pre-Owned is a MUST in my opinion, or a really good after market warranty.
Only thing that bugged me was no Bluetooth streaming, but that is easily solved with one of these.
I have a 30 pin dock connector in my '11 S4 and purchased a bluetooth adapter for it. It works pretty well!
ViseeO Tune2air WMA1000 - Wireless Bluetooth Music Interface Adapter for Car Audio Integration
Streams spotify, podcasts, music etc... really well. I just flip my stereo to "Media". Bluetooth was easy to connect to my phone.
If your car came with the 30-pin iPod connection, you can just buy this adapter and be able to listen to music from your phone via Bluetooth. I have it in my E90 and it works great.
http://www.amazon.com/ViseeO-Tune2air-WMA1000-Bluetooth-Integration/dp/B00B52LLJ6
In the <2013 series, the bluetooth is only for phone and not audio.
If you want to play audio over bluetooth, get this.
You can then have the phone connected to both the car's bluetooth and this bluetooth adapter connected to your 30-pin ipod MMI connector that should have come with your car. Make sure to select in the Bluetooth settings of your phone to use audio-only for this device and phone-only for the car's bluetooth.
I typically have my phone in a cd-player car mount and have Waze up running to give me directions or just warn me about speed traps, with pandora playing in the background.
I ordered a 2014 P+ with no navigation because I don't feel like paying $3000 for something my phone already does. It doesn't have bluetooth streaming audio, but you can get an adapter that does it for you - the adapter plugs into the AMI port in the glovebox and from what I've read it's really hassle-free.
I use this with my AMI cable on my Audi 2009 B8 A4 that might work for you. Spotify works and my phone are both connected at the same time.

This is what you want. You can be paired to the audi's bluetooth for phone audio and contact sharing and paired to this device for media audio at the same time. It won't show the track names for android, but it will appear as a media source, and you will be able to play your music through it and go fwd and backward with tracks. As for charging your phone, just use a regular usb charger in the console, then you don't have to mess with the glove box. I hope this helps.
This thing works great. You still need the BMW y-cable but once this is connected you connect your phone via bluetooth and it works like if you had you phone hardwired. Steering wheel controls, song data, everything. I have personally seen it in action, works great , sound quality was good.
ViseeO Tune2air This is what you are looking for. There are probably other devices out there that are similar to this one.
Go with the wma1000 on amazon. You would only need an additional power source via cig port, but will stream using the iPod connector over Bluetooth.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B52LLJ6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
If your car has the 30 pin iPod connector in the glove box you can use this Bluetooth adapter
I bought the tune2air Bluetooth adapter and Y-cable, it has worked well so far. Allows you to change songs from the car as well.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B52LLJ6/ref=cm_sw_r_sm_apa_fabc_pj99FbFFKNWEP
This works freaking great. Get it. You won't be disappointed
I have two 164ml and I have these installed in them. If you have factory Bluetooth phone, it will still work while using music through bovee bovee adaptor
I had this exact car for 9 years. Keep some oil in the boot, and, if you have the iPod dock connector in the glove box, get one of these to stream music over bluetooth https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B52LLJ6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Yeah there is also the weirdest looking port in the center console that is used to connect iPods.
Edit: I found this? Its a little but more than what I was hoping to spend but it looks like it would work perfectly.
Yea you can skip songs, play/pause, and control volume from steering wheel and dash buttons.
If you already have the media cable then this (or something like it) is what you need
Bovee 1000 Wireless Bluetooth Music Interface Adapter for in Car iPod Integration https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B52LLJ6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Rer0Bb6WP6BTA
If you don’t have the media cable, something like this will probably be better since the cable is like $150 from the dealership (if I remember correctly)
Bovee Bluetooth Car Kit for AUDI, VW, MB - Music Interface Adaptor for in car iPod Integration (WMA3000A AMI/MDI/MMI connector) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R2HZ1XU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_uir0BbQ4F6KBT
Before you buy anything make sure you have the media port. Mine was located in the glove compartment on the left side.
I actually had this one originally:
https://www.amazon.com/Bovee-Wireless-Bluetooth-Interface-Integration/dp/B00B52LLJ6
and that was great because it hooked straight into the iphone connector in my Audi but since the BMW is looking for a usb and aux cord I had to buy a cord to adapt it (https://www.amazon.com/3-5mm-Audio-30pin-Cable-Iphone/dp/B00490OVM0).
I would go with the wma3000b as it's all ready to go without the adapters.
This works incredibly well. Sound quality is absolutely perfect. Sounds like it is coming from a wired connection not bluetooth to aux.
These things work pretty well: https://www.amazon.com/Bovee-Wireless-Bluetooth-Interface-Integration/dp/B00B52LLJ6
As long as you have the iPod hookup, you're golden. It basically acts like your iPod/iPhone is plugged in.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B52LLJ6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This works pretty well. Used it in my A4 for 3 years with very few issues.
There is a fancy device called a Tune2Air. Google it and thank me later, but I think you'll need a 30pin adapter if you have the lightening cable connector
Edit: http://www.amazon.com/ViseeO-Tune2air-WMA1000-Bluetooth-Integration/dp/B00B52LLJ6
2011 C300 doesn't actually support bluetooth streaming, you need an adapter this one here is one of the only ones that is guaranteed to work
Not worth it man, just do what I do and use your phone w/ a cd-player mount and bluetooth streaming adapter. I use the following items in my car setup:
Total for this is a little over $100, all DIY obviously, and gives me great functionality and ability to stream pandora and have Waze or Google Maps giving directions. What I do now actually is stream pandora in the background, have Waze running the in the background for alerts (e.g. police or road hazards), and Google Maps in the foreground with navigation.
Setup your phone's bluetooth so that Media Audio is connected to the ViseeO bluetooth adapter and keep it setup so that Phone Audio is connected to the car's bluetooth for making and receiving phone calls. Works pretty seamlessly really!
I have a 2010 997.2 and use the Porsche 30 pin cable with an old 64GB iPhone 4S. This works perfectly.
If you want to use a newer device, you will need the 30 pin to lightning adapter from Apple in addition.
Plugging directly to the USB, as you have discovered, does not work.
There is a device called Tune2Air which you can use with the Porsche 30 pin cable and use bluetooth to get the music from your phone to the car. This works, but in my experience it drops out and skips frequently, and doesn't sound as good as the 30 pin solution.
My advice: get a smashed but working iPhone 4s 64GB and Porsche's cable.
Porsche is around 5 years behind on vehicle electronics.
No need for updating to the tech pack. Just get this for enabling bluetooth: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B52LLJ6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Why would you have to pay $500 when you can just pay $90??

Get a 30pin to Bluetooth adapter like this ViseeO Tune2air WMA1000
I use this in my S4 B8 ... works well.
I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet, but I just got a tune2air with the BMW y cable for my 2011 335 and it works great!!
http://www.amazon.com/ViseeO-Tune2air-WMA1000-Bluetooth-Integration/dp/B00B52LLJ6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420515676&sr=8-1&keywords=tune2air http://www.amazon.com/Goliton%C2%AE-ADAPTER-MASERATI-61120440796-61120440812/dp/B003P6DGMK/ref=pd_sim_cps_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=0AAQZPAYGNBX4710FESZ
Get this device, it's pricey but it's the one that works best. Plugs right into the 30-pin Ipod connector in the glovebox if you have one of those. Not sure about the B7s, but this works with the B8s and B8.5s.
For a mount, I recommend this one:
I use this. You won't have artist/song info on the MMI, but it works great with my Nexus 5.
I feel you man. I have the 3.2, I guess the exhaust systems for our cars are the same. Remus makes one, it sounds good, but $1200 for a couple mufflers and some tubing seems ridiculous. AMI is easyish. I did a bit of research, and it yeilded me this site. http://a6retrofit.com/ami-retrofit-audi-music-interface/
There is also this thing, which makes it possible to stream bluetooth to the AMI through A2DP, which is a minimal loss digital format. IE: no need for an iPhone or iPod to use AMI. http://www.amazon.com/ViseeO-WMA1000-Tune2air/dp/B00B52LLJ6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1412749229&sr=8-1&keywords=tune2air
Aesteticly you can get a RS6 grille, I've heard mixed things about the ebay ones, but I think I'm going to give one a shot anyways, they are 1/4 the cost of a legit one, and if it fits horrible, I'll just go back to stock. http://www.ebay.com/itm/111419751154?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
There are VCDS mods too, and other tweaks.
Way more trouble than it's worth... Just spend the $$ and get this:
Yup, works great for me as well and glad I dropped the extra money for a well engineered solution.
don't have to worry about switching cables or plugging it in and having your phone in the glovebox, just got it for my a4, works great

I use Viseeo and it is amazing. It interfaces with the 30 pin Iphone connector and allows you view and change tracks via idrive and such. I have not tired with with an Android, so miles may vary; I don't see why it won't work though.
