Thanks for looking, have an awesome day!
I have almost this same desk (check my post history). The capita legs at Ikea are 4inches tall which almost made my desk TOO high. Love it over all though. There are better ones which I wish I would have went with BLQZR legs on Amazon which I believe are 2-2.5inches which would have been better, although I don't know the build quality on those. The Ikea Capita legs are sturdy as hell.
EDIT: these are the legs I was talking about on amazon, they were the ones the YouTuber RandomFrankP used as well [link]
I’ve seen people use adjustable furniture legs to keep the top from sliding around.
They are skewed into the cabinet and the table top just sits on them.
BQLZR Stainless Steel Kitchen Adjustable Feet Round 2" Dia Furniture Leg Pack of 4 [link]
these ones. So far it haven’t moved. The stuff on the desk is pretty heavy so it keeps it down. As long as you aren’t bumping into it too hard, it should be fine. When I had just the tabletop in the drawers it moved all the time.
They’re furniture legs from amazon

Not sure what he used but I watched a video and saw this guy use these If you want them all black like his you can just spray paint them
[link] they’re adjustable so you can get the height you want, when you screw them into the alex drawers (or whatever the table top is on) make sure to use a drill and shallow screws so you don’t go to deep and have any exposed screws
I’ll proved a link below. Got them on Amazon. 4inch tall. Does raise the desk high, so if you’re tall it sits nice (I’m 6.1).. They are just secured to the drawer units, the table is resting on them but the feet are gripped so it doesn’t move
If you're taller, most people put furniture spacers/legs like these to add more height
For those asking, the drawers are the typical Alex drawers from ikea, the risers are from Amazon BQLZR Stainless Steel Kitchen... [link] and I used a butcherblock countertop from Home Depot that I finish sanded, stained, and sealed. All in all cost me a little over 300 for the whole desk portion
here you go! also you screw then into the alex draws, i believe you will need 2 buy a 2 set for both sides, and another ikea leg in the middle of the table if it’s a 2metre tabletop as the desk flexes
Did you get the extra package with the fixed riser parts? If you did, you might have a simple solution to raise up the riser.
I'm 5'11", so I'm having the same issue as you regarding the height. What I've been thinking about doing is taking the extra riser part RC (the part that connects the riser to the bartop) and attaching these furniture legs to it to make a riser for the riser. Since the extra piece is the exact diameter of the riser and the same black color, it should look pretty good.
They are legs for furniture. I got the 104mm so I could put my PS4 under it but they also have a shorter set.
That’s perfect than. I usually have the monitors moved forward a fair bit so i guess it will all work out. What about if i add these under the table top? Would it cause any issues with the mounts? The desk is a little lower than I would want
I didn't actually attach mine. I have the 74" block from HD, and with dual monitors and computer on top it really isn't going anywhere. To stop most sliding around, I found some rubber spacing pads with adhesive, also at HD, and stuck them on top of the drawers. Others get those small adjustable legs for more height but I didn't need that plus didn't want to have to drill into the drawers.
Sorry I’m out at the moment but if it helps I need screws for these
Into the kallax from ikea
It may be low standing looking at it, but remember when sitting your knees only (likely) sit 23-24 inches from the floor, and there's 29" to the table top. That said, if you like to cross one leg under the other when sitting or whatever it could get cramped.
If that's the case, screw these to the Alex and set the tabletop on them instead. Looks great and adds another 2 inches. There are also 4 inch and adjustable variants of the linked feet/risers.
these my friend
Honestly it's slightly tall for me, but ergonomic enough where I'm not heading my hand, I'm 6'4" so I recommend getting the shorter ones that are height adjustable.
But if you still want the tall ones, which I do, I recommend getting pads for your office chair if the arm rests are not tall enough like I'm doin
The alexa drawers didn’t come with any stands. I bought these on amazon and drilled them into the top of the drawers. The desk is heavy enough so it never budges.
Yep no problem! Amazon sells these and that’s what I’ve seen people use. You might have some luck finding something similarly into your specs.
They are IKEA Alex drawers they make a black/dark wood one. The legs on the desk are furniture legs I got off amazon, just look it up and you can find sizes from 2 inches to 8 inches. On my desk I’ve got 4 inch ones:
Here are the ones I have:
Oh those are just kitchen legs from amazon
My friend that there is the infamous Alex + karlby combo from Ikea. Along with some, my guess, olov legs as well as desk risers
Here’s the link! Sorry for the delay, I’m new to Reddit! Hahah
Furniture Legs (4 inch)
Amazon Desk Spacers. Adds some height and gives a clean look and screws into one side and has rubber feet on the other.
Get those and a shelf to attach to it. Will keep it looking nice while providing a good height and better airflow.
I am by no means a master of aesthetic. I am but a mere fella wanting a place I can work without being accompanied by a lawnmower, storage and a nation of spiders. I've cleaned up the garage, chucked the lawnmower and kids bikes in the shed and all other storage into the loft.
My battlestation , minus to suped computer, is heavily inspired by the Alex + Karlby combo which seems to dominate this subreddit. I have a fair way to go before it's where I want it to be..give it time and I'll get there.
I primarily use the left monitor for music, reddit and emails and browsing and then the right monitor set to 120Hz and connected to my ShadowPC via Parsec, for gaming. I find Parsec stream to run slightly better than Shadow's own stream. To bypass the timeout feature on Shadow I run Shadow on the Samsung note 20 Ultra in full screen.
Originally I had planned to remove the old Laptop by running my ShadowPC via Samasung DEX on the Note 20 Ultra but there are a few mouse acceleration and keyboard, special key issues with the android system still. Dex also doesn't natively support dual screen yet, so there's that also.
Plans are to upgrade peripherals, Keyboard to a black Anne Pro 2, with a grey/ black aviator cable. The mouse to something like the Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse and a headset to Logitech G533 Wireless Gaming Headset, as I'm currently using a basic-as-you-can-get headphones. But when you're a dad of three little terrors and have other commitments the dream battlestaion is lower on the priority list for the moment ;)
Thank you for have a gander at my setup and if there's anything thing you think I can add that will get it looking fresh, without burning a hole in my pocket, I'm all ears/eyes.
ps bike is a Wilke.
>Furniture legs used as risers:
They are upside down furniture legs

Ikea's version are the Capital legs below
BQLZR Stainless Steel Kitchen Adjustable Feet Round 2" Dia Furniture Leg Pack of 4 [link]. You bet.
nope, it looks like it’s a standard Linnmon iKEA desk with the BQLZR Furniture Legs. It’s quite common in the IKEA gaming desk space.
Those are some adjustable kitchen feet. Think these ones specifically - [link]
They are actually furniture feet so you screw them into the drawers and set the tabletop on top of them.
Was thinking about getting this too so I don't think there should be a sag if I screw these [link]
Here is what I’m using:
They are cabinet legs that are adjustable. BQLZR Stainless Steel Kitchen... [link]
CAPITA from ikea [link]
some even got something similar from amazon:
BQLZR Stainless steel adjustable feet
I found this on amazon, from another reddit pc build post
BQLZR Stainless Steel Kitchen Adjustable Feet these ones
Those are furniture risers. They have been really popular and you can get them around on Amazon or Ikea.
Here are a couple ones I found:
8 ft long x 25 in deep. I used a set of universal furniture feet between the drawers and the top
I went with these.
These are what I use. Since they are adjustable. BQLZR Stainless Steel Kitchen Adjustable Feet Round 2" Dia Furniture Leg Pack of 4 [link]
I have a similar setup and used these. They’re drilled into the underside of the desk
No not at all! They’re furniture risers from amazon
I was looking into something like this to get a little extra lift and not have to drill into the tops of the drawers. They have different heights also
Thank you for getting back to me. I'm guessing something similar if not the same ones?
I screwed them into the top of the drawers.
[link]. Here they are it's just to raise the desk on the right side
All good. Actually ordered them from Amazon.
BQLZR Stainless Steel Kitchen Adjustable Feet
also creates a nice look [link]
Thanks! And sure thing, here are the exact pieces I got:
here ya go they have 4inch and 2inch ones
It’s these with these little adhesive strips on the bottom. Doesn’t move an inch strips
I believe the risers are something similar to these
I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post links but:
I got 8 in total, 4 for each side, in the 4 inch variant.
Sure. They are also adjustable

When I was building my setup I had this question myself. It's actually easy when it comes down to things.
I used These
I screwed mine into the Alex drawers. This way if I want to say move the drawers inward I can do it easily without worrying about matching it up with the legs of they were screwed into the countertop.
I didn't do any drilling.
I bought some self drilling screws(you usually screw then in with a screw driver without the need of a hammer or drill) once I knew where my holes were gonna be I just put down the screw and started screwing in.
If you're worried about them popping through the drawers, don't fret I used these
I screwed mine into the Alex drawers rather than the karlby.
Haha, sorry about the misunderstanding! They're these:
I used these!

[link] I bought these on amazon, just screw them into the bottom of the desk and sit it on the drawers!
No bother at all I picked them up on Amazon. They are actually furniture legs and I put them facing upwards to be between the side units and the table top [link]
I used metal furniture legs from Amazon!
I also used some 3m circular velcro to put on the feet and the table to help with it not sliding when i bump it
Look for BQLZR on Amazon..

The foam panel are for looks and don't do anything to the sound K!
Don't know where else to find the desklamp. Looks discontinued, idk.
Yea no worries, here you go
Hey! Thank you I appreciate that! I made them using these legs and used just the top part of this monitor riser. Anything for the top works, one of the stands is a computer door from an ikea desk (can you tell which one, haha). I just found a monitor riser that was close in size.
Here you go
Ikea Lack shelves
and just put it on these legs:
Sure. All and all its MUCH cheaper than buying a desk.
Legs for support
Legs between Desk and Drawers
Hey OP, i came across this which may help you
He links to the legs he used in the description, they are here - [link]
