Rhino put out a compilation of something like 15 CD's of lounge music a few years back called "Ultralounge". Volume three was called Space Capades.

There is another compelation called Brain in a Box:The Science Fiction Collection full of related stuff - from TV themes, to pop. A couple right at the top, Telestar by the Tornados and Out of Limits by the Markettes are both very emblematic "Space Age" pop from the early 60's.
