What are those tiny speakers? Do you like them? I've been really wanting some smaller speakers to save space on my desk.

It looks good man the only thing i can think of is a Headphone rack for the side of your desk , and replace the Macbook with the controllers. you could also look for a minimalist controller charger

Oh I've got that covered haha, I've got a couple of these in use but I still have cans without a real home laying around. My collection is mostly just cheaper stuff but I still don't want to stuff them away into boxes.

Emmm, just find one that won't compress the headband. I don't recommend those fancy looking omega stands/imitations because they squish the pads for a lot of headphones.

Something like this works well and offers a lot of flexibility but you honestly have tons of choices as a North American. Have a search in the sidebar to see what others use.

Sennheiser HH10 headphone holder. Why were they discontinued and where can I get something similar? (Europe)

I have all manner of things holding up headphones in my office (ELHooks, DIY hangers, various fake Skulls), but I really like the Sennheiser HH10 headphone holder the best. I have been looking at this as a possibility since the HH10 is so hard to get at as reasonable price now.

• Raised floor for running cables
• Sit stand desks
• Multiple decently sized monitors 3 x 27" on monitor arms to get them off the desks
• Noise cancelling headphones for the staff
• Power hookups for a laptop/phone on desk
• War room / Meeting room that is quiet when the door is closed.
• Plenty of whiteboard/glassboard
• Lights that are adjustable, nothing worse that working the overnight and being blind
• POTS phone and Satelite TV (doesnt have to be the premium channels but a couple tuners that can be piped to different TVs isnt much more expensive that 1 tuner). These are for news and weather, but the channels can be changed ;)
• Put the desks in groupings around a pole/drop. Keeping people out of your peripheral vision and giving everyone room to move around.
• Another SSID/network with a business cable modem just in case. Obviously redundancy is key but a cheap modem can mean having internet when all else fails. Doubles as "personal device wifi".
• Full kitchen minus the range, if they are willing free drinks/snacks. Otherwise space to bring your own in for your shift. If they arent willing to foot the bill, a soda vending machine at 50 cents a can is a nice touch.
• HVAC that is adjustable for the room, when the sun is up room temperature can feel warm but at 3am it can feel cold. The NOC I was in was super cold at night.
• NO DRESS CODE, BE AN ADULT. Or give everyone a fleece/hoodie with the company logo on it that doesnt suck.
• Nice chairs, Herman Miller or similar
• Couch or 2 and a coffee table in the back. Sometimes you just need to be somewhere else, and wifi is an amazing invention.
• An empty "travel/remote" desk or 2, because sharing desks is silly. Also when things really go do down, people tend to appear.

• Keyboard+Mouse of the employees choice. Its not that expensive, why not let them make it their desk. Carpal Tunnel is no joke.

• Webcam - Conference calls are awful, why look awful.
• Glass/White board on wheels, doubles as partitions between desks/areas.
• Speakers around the NOC for music with a 3.5mm hookup or however the kids are doing it now days. I would say SONOS, but they are awful on an enterprise network (silly STP/bridging). Obviously there should be rules about the volume level and being appropriate music.
• War room should have a known Google Meet/Zoom url so relevant parties can join rather that coming to the war room.
• A sign/lockdown policy to keep people from walking in and saying "hows it going" when there is a real problem
• War room/kitchen/civilian area is separated by another set of doors from the NOC. Keep the managers/tours out.
• Bathroom with a shower.
• Desk/soft phones should have headsets. You need two hands to work a mouse and keyboard.
• A monitor that wastes power to show you how much power you are saving in the form of trees or leaves.

I could go on and on. And I did.

Any stand that constantly compresses the cushions is not a perfect stand. This flattens out your cushions rather quickly over time.

If you don’t mind buying replacement pads a lot, using head bust stands are doable. Otherwise, you’re better off using a stand that displaces the weight from the band only. Ideally, a wide arc, not a narrow hook which applies pressure to the center of the band (since some band have padding or leather on the band).

This is why vets aren’t using busts in this hobby for all their headphones. This is usually a common mistake of newer users who are aware of the mistake. Which is why I’m taking the time to share and hopefully save you some pad money down the road.

As a side note the secondary reason not to use bust headphone stands is that some busts are very wide (this one is not though) and it puts outward pressure on the band constantly. At best it can cause the band to expand over time and you lose clamp pressure. At worst, it can cause some plastic bands to weaken from the stress fractures and crack. These parts are replaceable too, but it’s just more money to spend on upkeep in exchange for the bust aesthetic.

There are many good headphone stands out there that are safe for long term high end headphone storage.

I like these because they have an adjustable height bar and hifi headphones like Senns and Audeze, etc have very long downward protruding jacks which consume a lot more height than you expect. They are extremely heavy too so they are not likely to tip even when bumped/smacked into.

I know there is a lot of stands I didn't mention. Just keep in mind normal hook type (with the straight flat bar and not a wide arc) are not ideal either depending on your headphone brand. Stick to the wide band arc design like the ones I linked, no matter who makes it or the price the design of that wide arc and no pad contact is all that really matters.

PS: Be sure to check your headphone height (including connected jacks) before buying stands so you jacks don't touch the bottom of the table and knock the cans off the stand or do damage to the jacks by resting on them. This is one reason I am a huge fan of "height adjustable" stands. However, that cheapest one I link where it hands from a table is the ultimate cheap solution to this.

I have the Brainwavz Hengja and they're excellent. All metal, very well put together. This looks like it's the same build and quality. Check out the Brainwavz Hooka and the Brainwavz Krudul too.

I use this for the HMD, and this for the controllers. Fairly minimalist, but looks good on/around the desk area.

This is the headphone stand that I use.

I'd recommend a headphone hanger. Maybe something like this or this. Also, work on that cable management. A cable box would benefit what looks like an extension brick down there on the ground. Another option would be going with a more traditional extension cable and mounting it on the side of or underneath your desk. It would clean it up a lot. Other than that, think about adding a bit of personality to the desk. Maybe add a couple figurines, or a plant or a desk lamp. That part is up to you. Hope I was helpful! :)

• Move your mic + boom-arm from the left side of the desk and place it on the back of the desk, closer to the monitor. That way you can pull it forward when you need it and push out of the way when you're not using it.
• get a hanger for your headphones something like this or like this
• get either a desk or wall mount for your monitors. that way you can move the audio device thing on the left and place it directly under the monitor to help the desk look less cluttered.
• take your PC off the floor and put it on the desk. it will collect less dust

I have one of these (http://www.amazon.com/Brainwavz-Hengja-Headphone-Desk-Hanger/dp/B012VIWG28), but it's for a shelf, not directly on the wall. I have a shelf above my desk so it saves some desk space.

I love the clamshell stands, and see them often in very nice setups! I recently purchased an ultrawide monitor, and I am very happy with it! It increases productivity, and makes daily tasks much more enjoyable. I have this desk clamp, but a lot of people like bigger on desk headphone stands.

I would advise to getting a mechanical keyboard if you are using it for work. It makes it so much better and you will never want to go back. The options I gave you are quite pricey, but those are also some of the best options. If you would like I can give you more options. I recently bought this Logitech Gaming Keyboard which I use for programming.
