Most renewables aren’t viable 1) because their output is minuscule by comparison, and 2) most of the green renewable alternatives pollute the hell out of the environment in other ways.

You seem genuine, so I have a couple of books (or watch their documentary versions) and a couple of published articles that I recommend reading. Even if you don't agree with the authors, they still provide some important ideas to think about.
