It won’t have any gas in it… I doubt there is a lighting gas plant in your town in this century. (It was usually a different type of gas than modern cooking/heating gas.)
An enjoyable book on the history of artificial lighting is “Brilliant” (by Jane Brox) which covers the gaslight era in detail!
