This adapter will allow you to connect an Xbox one controller (and a bunch of others if you so desire) to your 360. Slightly expensive, but well worth it. I have one and can vouch for it— I play a lot of shoot em ups and use an 8BitDo M30. Works like a charm.
I'd use an adapter, a quick Google search found this, I've never had issues with adapters, I collect them for older consoles. far easier and honestly better results usually than a gut swap. 100% recommend.
If you already have a ps5 compatible stick just get the Xbox brook converter and you should be good to play on all current gen systems-
Your best and only bet is buying something like this and see if it works.
Either one should be fine, though you'll probably want to get a Brook Wingman adapter to get your PC to recognize it as an Xbox controller.
Once the adapter arrives, you can follow the included directions to update its firmware, then remap both sides of the drum surface as follows:
Once the buttons are remapped, make sure the in-game control style is set to type 2, and you should be good to go.
I’ve heard great things about the Logitech ones. But they carry a hefty price these days ($30-$45 each), so I suggest doing some research about the Brook Wigham
No idea which country you are in so you'll have to search your own site, but it'd be far easier to use something like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Brook-Wingman-Support-Controllers-Consoles/dp/B08H1SYGWV/ref=pd\_lpo\_3?pd\_rd\_i=B08H1SYGWV&psc=1
Use a controller adapter, like the Brooke Wingman XB. I own one to use Xbox Series controller on the 360, and it works perfectly (but it must be wired). You can use DualShock 3 and 4, as well as DualSense wirelessly on your Xbox Series console.

I know there is a cost to it. But this works.
I've seen this product but didn't pick it up as it works for PS5 but won't work with Xbox. I was watching videos on this today to enable the use of a Hori mini PS4 controller on Xbox series X due to Xbox not manufacturing small controllers. I've found this and It seems to be perfect for Xbox usage.

Magicboots you have to find yourself either on Amazon or AliExpress.
Alternatively, could an adapter like this one (also by Brook) be used with a PS3-coded ardwiino guitar?
I saw someone mention this here on Reddit.
I've not used myself, but I am tempted to get one as the more modern Xbox controllers are superior to the 360 ones, as great as they were in their time.
You could try this:
Brook Wingman XB - Support PS5/ Xbox Series X/S /PS4/ PS3/ Xbox One/Xbox 360/ Xbox Elite 1/ Xbox Elite 2/ Switch Pro Controllers on Xbox Series X/S/Xbox One/Xbox 360, Consoles Adapter, Turbo and Remap https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08H1SYGWV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_i_QHRSKCNQ23MMHBBAX3NV
Or you can use your original Xbox 360 controller right now using this adapter. My wife hates the new controllers, so I got her this to use her old Xbox 360 controller.
Brook Wingman XB Support PS4 PS3... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08H1SYGWV?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
If you have a Pro Controller this will allow you to use it on Xbox SX. https://www.amazon.com/Brook-Wingman-Support-Controllers-Consoles/dp/B08H1SYGWV
If you have small hands a DS4 or 5 style controller will be more comfortable but stick position is less than optimal and button spacing is down right silly for large thumbs.
If you have beefy sausage links like I do the Xbox series s controller is better. The series X controller has a D pad that I hate but I am old, so muscle memory and all that.
Retro emulation I use the SN30 Pro by 8BitDo, it is a tiny snes layout with PlayStation-esque sticks and triggers but this model has no ergo grips and it feels good in my hand. Works on Xbox series X with wireless adapter in fact works on all consoles with that adapter.
Fighting games I use Hori Commander Pro if I want to use a Dpad or many other fightsticks. Make sure to get one branded for Xinput if you want it work for XBsX
Also on PC I use these as well.
For couch gaming I use the Steam controller for turn based games that dont have native support for controller. PC only as far as I know.
If I want to use in game text chat I still use the Xbox 360 controller with keyboard adapter. That thing is comfy but has some of the stiffest sticks I have ever played with. I had to set custom curves up in Steam Controller Config to not overshoot everything.
I've been using my Pro 2 on a Series X with a Brook Wingman XB, which says on the box that it works with Xbox One.
If you search on YouTube you can find some videos of people using it with an Xbox One. Would definitely recommend.
Since people are so busy mentioning other platforms on this sub you can use this so you can use the dualsense no matter what
You can get the brook Xbox adapter for 45 bucks and use your drone.

From what I Gather no it uses different Bluetooth versions the xbone uses Bluetooth 4.0 LE while the 8bitdo uses 2.1 protocol. searching reddit for an answer for you I stumbled upon this guy that uses his 8bitdo arcade stick on his series x.

Yes, you need one of these -

I wanted to see if I can get the 8bitdo Arcade Stick to work on my Xbox Series X. Since I have GamePass and there are plenty of fighting games on there, I wanted to see if there was a way to connect the Arcade Stick to the Xbox. As of where it stands now if I connect the gray usb adapter that comes with the Arcade Stick to the Xbox, it will connect but nothing will happen when I press the buttons.
So, I tried searching this subreddit to see if there is a way to connect the Arcade Stick to the Xbox. I stumbled across this reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/8bitdo/comments/ayenh7/8bitdo_adapter_on_xbox_one_playstation_4_possible/. This user was able to connect the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to the Xbox with a special adapter. It was called the Brook Super Converter Xbox 360 to Xbox One Controller Converter Adapter. So, I thought if I order this adapter I might be able to connect the Arcade Stick since this user was able to connect their Pro Controller.
So, it came in and I gave it a try. I connected the Brook Converter in the Xbox directly and plug the gray adapter in the Brook Converter and it worked! On the X-input at 2.4G, the Arcade Stick was connected to the Xbox and it looked like it has minimum input delay. I, also, had the brown 8bitdo USB adapter and wanted to see if it would connect to it as well. At the X-input on Bluetooth, it worked that way as well. The turbo and macro buttons worked as well.
Now, if you have an Xbox and want to try it for yourself then I would recommend this Brook Converter since it worked for me. Although the one I have mention is starting to get hard to find, Brook makes an updated version (I belive it is an updated version) on their Amazon site called the Brook Wingman XB adapter. Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/Brook-Wingman-Support-Controllers-Consoles/dp/B08H1SYGWV?ref_=ast_sto_dp. I have not tested this adapter but I believe this will have the same results as well but buy it at your own risk.
I, also, believe that this method can work with the Playstation 4 as well. Brook makes the same converter for the playstation called the Brook Wingman XE adapter. Here is the link for that: https://www.amazon.com/Brook-Wingman-Support-Controller-Converter/dp/B08B82M9TG?ref_=ast_sto_dp. I do not know if this converter will work if you own a Playstation 5 since it doesn't list it on the picture on their Amazon page but, like I said before, buy it at your own risk and try it out for yourself.
Overall, I cannot wait to start playing this on the Xbox. I am glad that the method I have found worked and can't wait to use it on a lot of games in the future!
In addition to the aforementioned OGX360 which is an open-source community developed solution, the other main product I've seen recommended is the Brook Wingman XB Converter:
https://www.amazon.com/Brook-Wingman-Support-Controllers-Consoles/dp/B08H1SYGWV
It supports a wired 360 controller by plugging into the adapter, or wireless 360 controllers if you purchase the wireless USB adapter for 360 controllers and plug that in.
Note you will also need to purchase a USB => Xbox controller port cable adapter if you buy this.
Easy solution would be with the Brook wingman XB. The adapters work great and support tons of controllers, taiko drum as well.
On amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Brook-Wingman-Support-Controllers-Consoles/dp/B08H1SYGWV
I use this to play my 360 with my Series X controller. Only problem is that it has to be wired.
you might need this: https://www.amazon.com/Brook-Wingman-Support-Controllers-Consoles/dp/B08H1SYGWV/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=brook+wingman+xb&qid=1657126972&refinements=p_89%3ABrook&rnid=2528832011&s=videogames&sprefix=brook+%2Caps%2C124&sr=1-3 with this: https://www.8bitdo.com/wireless-usb-adapter/ or this: https://www.8bitdo.com/wireless-usb-adapter-2/
Excellent. I’m assuming I need a Xbox controller plug to USB adapter as well? Here’s what I found: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08H1SYGWV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_KNVB5T4WT4BATEAAQ2B8
I use this here to use PlayStation first party controllers on Xbox series.
I play with PS5 controllers and a brooks adapter after trying a variety of off brand controllers. None of them have a dead zone as good as the stock Xbox and ps controls. Plus is is so quiet. Takes some getting used to for FPS games but for games that utilize the dpad, it is wonderful. Just an FYI: you tube controls the pros use and not one that I remember use an off brand control. https://www.amazon.com/Brook-Wingman-Support-Controllers-Consoles/dp/B08H1SYGWV/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=25OP7CHVX8WFM&keywords=brooks+adapter+xbox&qid=1650854096&sprefix=brooks+adapter%2Caps%2C130&sr=8-3
I plan on using this again with the PS5 controller. Felt so much more responsive than my Elite 2.

Saw this on another thread, no idea if it works
https://www.amazon.com/Brook-Wingman-Support-Controllers-Consoles/dp/B08H1SYGWV
Here's a link on amazon for it.
Not without an adapter. This one should work.
Just use an Xbox one wireless controller with a Brooke wingman XB adapter here
Since people were tripping over themselves mentioning other platforms on the sub you can use this for your dualsense
You’ll need this.
yes, if you get a converter like this
https://www.amazon.com/Brook-Wingman-Support-Controller-Converter/dp/B08H1SYGWV?ref_=ast_sto_dp
but its probably going to cost more than just buying a cheap xbone controller and connecting that
I've used my PS5 controller on my XSX for about 2 months now, love it.

This doesn't really have to do with your problem specifically, but I just watched Xbox's accessibility presentation last weekend and it convinced me to get an XBX because they're way more accessible than PS. (Coming from a die hard PS fan) Now I have both systems.
Also, someone recommended this to me, maybe it'll help you too.

Yea I can't explain it, but I feel like it's much more responsive than the Xbox controller - Even the Elite.
There’s also a USB dongle that can adapt a PlayStation controller (wired) to Xbox: https://www.amazon.com/Brook-Wingman-Support-Controllers-Consoles/dp/B08H1SYGWV

You actually could, but you gotta buy an adapter. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s a really good quality. Link.
You want the Brook Wingman XB
