I've studied AIDS thing extensively. I don't think HIV causes AIDS. Some very prominent virologists, even Luc Montaigner who got the Nobel for discovering HIV, are skeptical. 'HIV may be benign,' Luc Montaigener. Duesberg is a foremost retro-virologist who completely denies the HIV causes AIDS. His theory - it's caused by excessive use of antibiotics (remember Acuired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) which attack the immune system. Gay men are very promiscuous and got many VD's followed by courses of antibiotics. This rendered them easily susceptible to opportunistic 'AIDS defining' infectious diseases. Likewise with needle drug users.

The follow on courses of AIDS drugs (the initial ones) were invariably lethal and attacked the immune system. In the package insert, it warns - May cause AIDS-like symptoms. The later drugs were less aggressive and worked much differently, which is why no one dies of AIDS (drugs) anymore.

Talk about failed predictions - AIDS is ridiculous for it. Bad theory.
