That looks like it uses the usual "magic locker" type of lock. Try either inserting the key all the way and then pull back slightly before turning, or pushing the key in all the way and turning. Don't force it or you can snap the key off, in which case we can move this discussion to r/permanentchastity. 😱

BTW, the manufacturers of those "magic locker" devices are on a "race to the bottom" to cut costs and quality to the bare minimum. I gotchu. So all of these locks are imitators of a burg wachter cabinet lock. The original burg is high quality and won’t break as easily.

There are things that can hamper the casual removal of your dick but the next level of security is to get pierced. At least a piercing would not be escapable without destroying the cage or lock. The locks that come with the cheap cages are cheap Chinese knock-offs that easily break. You can get better versions of the locks, they’recalled Burg Watcher. Probably can Google The Lock Picking Lawyer and he’ll have a video on how to pick even these but it’s a better lock and I’m not so sure that it could be done by the wearer without breaking the lock. There are ringless cages that can’t be pulled out of because the cage uses a piercing which is going through your dick. Cages such as this would require either destroying the cage or lock to get out. This to me is the best level of security as if you have to destroy to get out you aren’t true to your KH (that and how can you hide a broken custom cage?)

If you’ve got the kind of cage that uses an integrated lock (the lock will look like this: Burg Wachter), lock the lock, take out the key, flip the lock around, and put it in backwards (I.e., keyhole first). The lock will keep the cage on, but you can push it out anytime you want, since the tang on the lock isn’t engaged. (I tend to pull it out with a fingernail when I’ve got it “locked” that way.)

I suppose if you’re sleeping in it and the cage jiggles around the lock could work it’s way out, which could create a problem if you’re not awake. OTOH, if it trapped your balls or something in a way that hurt, it’d probably wake you up before it caused a problem.

Most of the Chinese locks are pretty low quality. If you want the original it's the Burg Wachter ME/2 originally designed to secure furniture mortise locks.

As someone mentioned all the "Magic Locks" are based on the Burg Wachter ME/2 which was originally designed to provide additional furniture mortise locks. You can buy one on Amazon for $25.
