Looking for recommendations on merino-wool tops (crewnecks) and merino-wool face masks (or other recommendations, ideally on amazon.ca for warm masks)
Also bonus question, I'm looking at this 260gsm merino wool Icebreaker top that states it's a baselayer. Does anyone know how warm it is by itself or with just a jacket overtop compared to a midlayer/crewneck?
Basically, I'm looking for a thick merino wool top to wear by itself with maybe a jacket overtop for weather in the 10 to -10c region. Currently, I own/wear this Lululemons Alpine Air sweater and find it fantastic just by itself (aka looking for similar products).
Other products I'm considering:
PRICE RANGE: $50-$170. Ideally on the lower-end so I can buy multiple colors.
Not a huge fan of the style for Smartwool for crewnecks. The reverse-seams are just a bit ugly imo. UNICLO seems to have a bad rep recently as well on a few subs stating their quality has gone down.
