I recently upgraded my TV to the CX and put a surround Arc-based system in, at that point (and price!) I took the opportunity to get rid of all of my 2.0 (or older) cables and replace them with 2.1s going forward.
I found this pack on Amazon so counted the cables I already had and bought the required amount of these so I could switch one in for everyone I removed from the system. It’s a little bit more money but gave me peace of mind and turned out to be quite cathartic.
Amazon Link: Cable Matters 3-Pack 48Gbps Ultra... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B081NXV3ZR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Cable Matters 3-Pack 48Gbps Ultra HD 8K HDMI Cable with 8K 120Hz Video and HDR Support for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, RTX3080 / 3090, RX 6800/6900, Apple TV, and More - 2m, 6.6 Feet https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081NXV3ZR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_SHFQXBTWZ9M4W6VQQY2E?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
This worked for me. The link is for the 6.6ft, which is what I got, but they have a 9.8’ one. Not sure if you needed it to be exactly 10’ or longer.
With your internal apps you can have atmos because is compressed atmos your tv send it throught DD+.
For the 4k blue player and PS4/PS5 you have to choose wich connect or buy hdmi splitter.
Is very important that you use 2.1 cables or 2.0b that let atmos.

Yes, from your source to the Arcana and from the Arcana to the display you will need cables that can fully support transfer of 18Gbps/600MHz as long as your equipment is capable of sending such bandwidth.
We recommend HDfury, Cable Matters, Zeskit and Kabeldirekt brands with a min length of 6ft(2m) and max length of 12ft(4m) in copper. If you need longer cables, you should consider active or fiber cables. We recommend the 4K120 from Zeskit and Kabeldirekt on Amazon.
From Arcana to SONOS Arc, the HDMI cable only needs to support ARC/eARC, such as the HDMI cable that is already supplied with SONOS Arc.
I ran a setup like yours with no issue for some time, though I now use a splitter for different reasons. If you are using Dolby Vision with the ATV, it nearly maxes out the maximum possible HDMI 2.0 bandwidth. Though almost any cable can work when using less bandwidth, you need extremely good HDMI cables when you’re right at the edge. Most cables cannot support the full 600Mhz which is needed for maximum 18Gbps bandwidth. And I don’t mean you need expensive cables, just well designed ones. I would recommend getting the Cable Matters 8K 48Gbps 3-pack from Amazon (with 3 colored plugs) as even though you might not have 8K devices, it is very cheap per cable and known to work well, plus you can keep using them with 8K devices later down the line. It is also what I used.
https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-3-Pack-48Gbps-Support/dp/B081NXV3ZR
Note: EVERY single cable must be a good cable.
Just go to amazon and get a HDMI cord that can do 48gbps (hdmi 2.1 specced) and you will be future proofed for anything that comes.
These are the cables I'm using. Maybe this will help, but check for any bypass turned on your LG. Everytime I turn it on I get a delayed sound too.
Make sure you get a good hdmi cable though, I went through 4 different ones from Amazon before one worked correctly. Here is what I ordered: Cable Matters 3-Pack 48Gbps Ultra HD 8K HDMI Cable 6.6 ft / 2m with 8K @120Hz, 4K @240Hz and HDR Support for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, RTX3080 / 3090, RX 6800/6900, Apple TV, and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081NXV3ZR/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_DA41R4KDV69CKKSG5MQ2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Yes just HDMI from your devices to the corresponding AVR HDMI ports and 1 HDMI from AVR HDMI out to TV eARC port.
These are the ones I use but the 9.8 ft ones. If you need longer than that you'll want to get an "Active" cable to avoid any issues with 4K 120 Hz HDR VRR
I'm using these.
Cable Matters 3-Pack 48Gbps Ultra HD 8K HDMI Cable 6.6 ft / 2m with 8K @120Hz, 4K @240Hz and HDR Support for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, RTX3080 / 3090, RX 6800/6900, Apple TV, and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081NXV3ZR/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_5FHNM57QKZ28JS2ZSQKQ?psc=1
I've figured out how I finally got it to work, it's pretty long and convoluting. I actually ran two HDMI cables (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081NXV3ZR/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) between the receiver and TV. HDMI MAIN (ARC) went into HDMI 1 (arc 60hz) on my TV, and HDMI SUB went to HDMI 3 (120hz) on my TV. I turned on eARC on my tv (side note a firmware update on my tv makes it so sometimes I need to go into this menu and turn it off then on for whitenoise to go away and for it to work, this should be fixed with a firmware update), I set CEC on the TV to on, and set the receiver to the following all on the same screen (HDMI CEC ON - HDMI Standby Through AUTO - Audio TV out ON - Audio Return Channel (earc supported ON - and Auto Lip Sync - ON). I set the two inputs on the receiver with PS5 and XSX (using the respective cables that came with them) to 8K enhanced. I then set the receiver to use HDMI OUT SUB.
With these exact settings my TV displayed XSX and PS5 in full 4k 120 (RGB) with XSX available VRR through TV input 3. I briefly tried using HDMI out main for eARC from built in smartcast apps by switching on smartcast on the tv and input TV on the receiver with a Disney + atmos movie, and it seemed to work. I need to play around with this a bit more to see if I can leave the receiver on HDMI out sub+main all the time, and just use input 3 on the TV for 4k120 PS5 and XSX, and ARC through input TV on the receiver for built in smartcast apps, and I will see what input (1 or 3) works best for my nvidia shield, 4k blu-ray, amazon fire tv cube, and apple tv 4k.
Are you using a high quality HDMI cables?
On the Xbox menu under General > Volume and Audio Output > HDMI Audio I have mine set to Bitstream and Bitstream Format is set to DTS. Your soundbar night not be able to handle DTS so try Dolby Digital? Or is your soundbar newer and you are able to use Dolby Atmos / DTS:X.
Do you have HDMI Format set to Enhanced on the TV for both inputs (eARC and Xbox)? On the TV Menu under Sound > Advanced Settings > Digital Audio Out what do you have it set to? I have mine set to Pass Through.
You might want to get 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 cables regardless of your content, they're cheap enough now and you're less likely to encounter issues with 18Gbps (HDMI 2.0) content too. I would not get a random brand 18Gbps cable as many cables have issues when approaching the 18Gbps limit.
Check out https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081NXV3ZR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_dl_2P8T4YM1PX6R2867MVH2 which is a perfectly fine 3-pack and very cheap. Not much of a looker but they work well.
84 did not fix my problem either. But I did change my cables from the monoprice 8k cables I was using to the cable matters cables recommended by HDFury support. Since then, no problem so far. Fingers crossed!
Cable Matters 3-Pack 48Gbps Ultra HD 8K HDMI Cable with 8K 120Hz, 4K 240Hz and HDR Support for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, RTX3080 / 3090, RX 6800/6900, Apple TV, and More - 2m, 6.6 Feet https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081NXV3ZR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_CS9G74HC6TE60TB50FQY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Oh didn’t notice that. Here’s what I have
Cable Matters 3-Pack 48Gbps Ultra HD 8K HDMI Cable with 8K 120Hz Video and HDR Support for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, RTX3080 / 3090, RX 6800/6900, Apple TV, and More - 2m, 6.6 Feet https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081NXV3ZR
I tried this already, but I will try it again when I get home. I also tried connecting the PC to my Xbox and xbox to tv, since my xbox does not have audio issues, but there was no change.
This is the HDMI cable I am using:
https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-3-Pack-48Gbps-Support/dp/B081NXV3ZR
Same as you: Source -> AV -> Sync -> TV
I had a very similar problem. The no signal issue seems to be a problem with the AV switching inputs, didn’t do it before Sync, i can’t find a fix so now just have to switch the AV manually. Any other problems i fixed with high speed cables: Cable Matters 3-Pack 48Gbps Ultra... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B081NXV3ZR every single cable got swapped with one of these and now it all works lovely jubbly
I had some issues with older HDMI cables in my setup... so i bought these Cable Matters 3-Pack 48Gbps Ultra... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B081NXV3ZR and they’re fantastic. Very good price for 3 8k cables. No more problems with my sync and all my other devices connected
I bought new cables when I got the sync box for that reason. So the ones I got are hdmi 2.1, support 8k, all that stuff..I replaced every hdmi cable in the system. I didn't even use the cable that came with the hue sync.
But I have heard how finicky it can be. I don't want to have to keep buying cables until I find ones that work.......especially if that's not the problem.
This. I was having the same issue. This is what I purchased: Cable Matters 3-Pack 48Gbps Ultra HD 8K HDMI Cable with 8K 120Hz Video and HDR Support for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, RTX3080 / 3090, RX 6800/6900, Apple TV, and More - 2m, 6.6 Feet https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081NXV3ZR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_0J42FbD5ANH5H?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Is it the best, no. But they work.
>I would just stay away from places on amazon.
...what? You can get good cables on amazon. Example.
Then yeah, I would see if you can get your hands on a different cable and try that, since my setup is identical and it’s working fine for me with the input set to HDMI 2.1. I’m currently using these but I’m pretty sure it was also working with AmazonBasics 18Gbps cables https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-3-Pack-48Gbps-Support/dp/B081NXV3ZR
My PS4 would do this. I swapped the cable from the PS4 to the receiver and the receiver to the TV and the problem went away. I strongly suspect this is a cable quality issue even though you've tried a few. I'm using these 48Gbps cables if that helps, they were relatively cheap but solved all my problems.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B081NXV3ZR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I’m in Sweden and ordered this set of 3 Ultra Hdmi cables from Cable Matters from Amazon Germany: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B081NXV3ZR/ They work perfectly with everything I’ve thrown at them from my Nvidia Shield (4K@60fps, 1440p@122fps, Dolby vision, HDR, Atmos, DTS, TrueHD, etc), STB TV box, Steam Link, MacBook Pro to AVR AUX1 and only cost €22 for a pack of 3. I’ve tested it through 2 denon receivers (AVR-x2300w and AVR-x3600) and directly to my LG C9. I’m not sure why you’re saying you had to plug it into the HDMI port closest to your ARC (monitor out) connection for it to work either, mine have been plugged into whatever HDMI connections I require on my AVR without issues. There’s really no point in buying the expensive cables unless you have a very specific need (in wall runs, extra shielding, longer length).
For 55 cents more after clicking the 5% off coupon you can get 3 from Cable Matters instead. I'd trust them more over whoever is selling these cables. I've been using them for my PS5, Series X and PC and they work great.
https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-3-Pack-48Gbps-Support/dp/B081NXV3ZR
Its more of a strong vibration vs shaking. But meh I like it on occasion and am already invested in it with time/$ so getting it to work with Sonos was just me being difficult. Lol
The aurasound pro bass shakers are 75 retail each, but you can find on ebay through parts express for 50s. They are Mid/low grade price wise. I wouldn't go with cheapest https://www.parts-express.com/Aurasound-AST-2B-4-Pro-Bass-Shaker-299-028
Amazon basic wire
Sd200-6 amp 114 from ebay/parts express or amazon: https://www.parts-express.com/Yung-SD200-6-200W-Class-D-Subwoofer-Amp-Module-w-6dB35Hz-301-506
Scrap wood to make ported amp box/paint free. Plus time/wood to mount to couch (google for best spots)
Decent splitter, HDMI cables, HDMI to rca converter and RCA additional gain control. Another 60 or so. Links:

I purchased these a while back. I wanted to be ready for next gen of consoles, and had bought my CX earlier this year. Despite their low price (compared to others). I get 120hz on my PC, and my PS5 also seems to be running just fine using them. I was worried because of some of the reviews, I guess some people just got some bad ones? I've tested these, and I have had no issues.
I also just learned yesterday, you want to keep the cable less than 10' if possible. So these are just within that.
oh then really nothing that requires a crazy expensive HDMI cable at this time.
But if you want to semi future proof and cheap https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081NXV3ZR 3 x 6ft cables for $23 is hard to beat.
They're great cables.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081NXV3ZR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
These are them. And when I test with the PS5 directly into the TV, I use these wires and they work.
You might be right. I was using an 18 Gbps cable, so I just bought some 48 Gbps cables, so we'll see if that changes anything. The old one might be faulty as well. In the meantime I'll try my box of other cables and see if the issue persists. Thanks!
Best 3 pack of HDMI cables you can get for the money right now https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cable-Matters-3-Pack-48Gbps-Support-Color-Combo/dp/B081NXV3ZR
I’ve had really good results with these personally
These are the ones I picked up when I got the tv:
I'm not sure why you felt the need to devolve into personal insults so quickly.
It's possible their page has the wrong rating, but it's really quite simple - HDMI cables need to be rated for 18Gbps. 8K requires 48Gbps. A cable with a rating (by their own provided info) of 0.1Gbps simply shouldn't be sufficient to run 4K.
These are the last set that I bought, by the same manufacturer. These ones specifically aren't braided - I was mistaken in that regard.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081NXV3ZR/
The braiding does quite a bit to help protect the cable against regular wear-and-tear, especially in setups in which they're getting connected or disconnected frequently (which, I do, since I only have one PS5 but like to use it in different rooms).
For anyone who finds this post in the future, this is the cable I bought.
love these for my lg cx oled

These cables are rated for 48 Gbps
These cables are rated for 10.2 Gbps

They do NOT offer the same performance 🙄
New ones, ones that support 18GBPS.
https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-3-Pack-48Gbps-Support/dp/B081NXV3ZR/ you can get a 3 pack for under $30
I'm just using a monitor, not a recorder. I bought these cables and they are working well. The colors are also helpful for multicam. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B081NXV3ZR/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_6OAcGbG7KP787?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Sure, but $30 seems like a lot for an HDMI cable.
Amazon has a 3-pack with similar specs for $22
Cable Matters 3-Pack 48Gbps Ultra... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081NXV3ZR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I bought this to try, but it seems to have made no difference. :(
I bought this to try, but it seems to have made no difference. :(
I bought this to try, but it seems to have made no difference. :(
It could very well be the HDMI cable. It might not be possible to tell which one you have. For a CX, most people advise buying HDMI 2.1, because they'll allow for 120hz. Be careful though, because a lot of them aren't quite up to par. I bought these, and so far my PC runs at 120hz, and my PS5 runs just fine with it as well. There are a couple of bad reviews saying otherwise, I can just confirm what I've seen.
I use these and have confirmed it works with the XSX and PS5.
The PS5 maxes out at 32Gbps currently so it will not even use the full bandwidth of a HDMI 2.1 cable.
https://www.amazon.de/Cable-Matters-3er-Pack-Ultra-Unterst%C3%BCtzung-Color-Combo/dp/B081NXV3ZR
I live in germany though. Have in mind: the shorter the cable the better.
What kind of issues do you have?
Yeah mine definitely had one in the box. No worries. These should work well for you: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081NXV3ZR/
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081NXV3ZR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Supports hdcp 2.2, 8k, and is backwards compatible
Fucking excuse me for mixing up hdcp and hdmi you prick
Replace the cables. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081NXV3ZR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Sounds as if they may be the issue. I was going to mention turn of LED motion setting, but if its 1 input its gotta be cables.
Got my XH92 today - plugged it in with the PS4 already switched on and it was auto-detected straight away - I did use one of these cables though..
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B081NXV3ZR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Try these cables. I bought these, might be overkill because there 8k but they work!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081NXV3ZR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_WamJFbX880Q7J
This should work for you
Cable Matters 3-Pack 48Gbps Ultra 8K HDMI Cable with 8K 120Hz and HDR Support - 2m, 6.6 Feet https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081NXV3ZR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Ll.rFbC9JSSXR
I was using this originally
This. It depends on the content. The way HDMI cables are classified into HDMI1.1 or HDMI1.4 is bandwidth, not resolution. So ignore cables that advertise "4K". Look for appropriate "gbps" for your needs.
Can't go wrong with a 48gbps cable, it will have the highest compatibility right now. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081NXV3ZR
Don't feel like you need something this expensive: https://www.audiolab.com/audioquest-diamond-hdmi-digital-audio-video-cable/?sku=AUDHDMIDIA03
