Got this in hopes of the auxiliary jack that it comes with working. Looks like I’ll plug it directly into the laptop-aux cord to Astro base station. Hoping that’s the answer! Okay thanks for some insight. Had no clue about CTIA or OMTP

and by the way, last week I also tried to use my razer headset like this, without the splitter, what works is you can use it either for only the sound or only for the mic, flawlessly - I had sound via the headset and communicated via laptop mic, also no problem, the mic is not bad (I think it's the same on the Fusion 15)
