I have almost all Rogue stuff and it's great. Easily about $5000 worth of stuff. Awhile ago I wanted another barbell so I could more easily superset some stuff but couldn't quite bring myself to spring for another Ohio bar, so I found this cheapie on Amazon (not a referral link) and it has been just fine, in case you want something that's more budget friendly.
Anyway, awesome gym and happy lifting!
I feel like that's some Kohl's pricing where the MSRP is doubled so they can have it permanently on sale for 50% off.
EDIT: FWIW, the Amazon listing says it's made with 132,000psi steel. Still probably worth the cheap price, but the "1,500lb capacity" is probably bullshit.
Sorry for the confusion about the bar, I was referring to this one.

You can usually find then on Craigslist, but for $180 a 1500lb tolerance (according to them) bar is still a great deal.
In regards to the rack, I think my experience would be better if I had found this in say a commercial gym or training facility with more space. When space is limited and you HAVE to lift inside, it is a huge hassle for squats, deadlifts, and benching. It's basically impossible to deadlift in this rack if you have attached plate storage.
When you can lift outside the rack, it becomes infinitely better. But again, for most home gyms space is an issue and a lot of us have to lift inside. Plus, with the safety system the way it is, it is designed to be squatting/deadlifting within the 24 inches.
Get a good bar. I was doing OHP last night and the collar that prevents the weight from sliding into the center off the sleeve for the weights came off. Annoying as hell.
This One looks solid. Some of the cheaper ones flex. This one is rated at 1500lbs, which is well over anything I would ever do.
Edit: awesomely jealous btw. I have a small apartment and wish I could afford/fit a squat rack in.
I have the OB-86B, its nice, I just wish it had slightly more aggressive knurling. For the price its going for, I'd rather pick up the PB for $5 more http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000RNSDKE
Thanks the squat rack is the TP006D with the pulley system.
Yes I'm mostly looking for hex or rubber but even on craigslist the rubber goes for 1.50 a pound. I'll just keep my eye out for them.. Eventually ill buy more plates.
