Someone bought these polishing sheets on Amazon and posted the results. Looked good as new. I bought them also.....they are sitting on my counter.

I actually ran across a similar comment a while back, and discovered Cape Cod Metal Polishing Cloths (I think this is the link on amazon). I had accrued a number of scratches and these cloths work great if you keep up with it. Worth the small cost!
So, people may hate me but I've tried toothpaste, I've tried Brasso, but what really worked for me was this stuff. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0017H3PIO Cape Cod Polish Co Metal Polishing Cloth.
Be very very gentle. This stuff is powerful but easily cleaned the hard residue on my blocks. I then wiped it up with a soft lint free cloth, and then using a light bristle brush cleaned it in distilled water.
None of those
Stuff I use is called Cape Cod Polishing Cloths it's made for metals but great for plastic too.
Would probably be good with 2k grit paper too.
I haven’t used these on Apple logos, but I’ve had success with these wipes on shiny metal stuff like my stainless steel Apple Watch:
https://www.amazon.com/Cape-Cod-Polish-Co-Polishing/dp/B0017H3PIO
I’m not sure how well they’ll work, though. Maybe it’s just the photo, but those don’t look like light scratches to me.
Has anyone ever used a metal polishing cloth on their rep hardware? I accidentally left some very tiny scratches on my Petite Malle while trying to remove plastic that was stuck in one of the rivets 🤦♀️ Not sure of the composition of the hardware so I'm wondering if using metal polish would be safe.
Keep in mind, that only refers to the glass. The case material is stainless steel which scratches pretty easily but this can be buffed out easily as well. There are some polishing kits that I’ve used for my iPhone X that will work for the watch as well, but it may get some of the polish inside the button areas. A good rinse should get them out.

Whoops - I purchased this guy yesterday to try it out: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0017H3PIO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But if I end up liking it, I will get the full tin, as you say. I guess what I've been doing when I polish is applying the polishing compound on the cloth disk, and giving up instantly as soon as I see that it is turning my pieces grey and cloudy. I'll give it a bit longer this time. Thanks for your reply! All the best.
I've used these polishing cloths on the metal casing to remove some fine scratches. I can't tell how deep those are but it looks like you might need to take it to a jeweler.
What you do is remove them! It is supper easy, the secret is Cape Cod polishing cloth. This is used on surfaces that have a high polish finish. Do not use it on a matt or brushed finished. It will take out those small scratches and polish that surface back to new.
I polish my SS every couple of months, and with just a few minutes and some elbow grease, it's back to a mirror finish. It's the reason I chose SS. You scratch the aluminum, and well, I hope you don't mind scratches.

These will be your best friends. They're great for mostly everything but the deep deep nicks. Take off your band from the watch, turn off the watch, put on gloves scrub away, rinse. I do it about once a month and mine looks brand new each time.
Yeah, now that I think about it. I've scuffed both my original SS watch, and it's replacement. The Cape Cod wipes was able to easily remove the blemishes. I would be terrified if I scuffed the black coating on the Space Black watch. I'm sure it's incredibly durable, but still. I like the peace and mind knowing I can re-polish my watch easily.
If you ever decide to give it a try, just make sure to tape over the screen and rear sensor.
Ah, that's hilarious, I may have purchased a similar strap. I got a mesh from Hadley, but I was pretty content with how polished it looked. Have you considered taking one of these to the strap? It'd probably be more successful than a dremel, but you'd probably be limited to polishing whatever area the cloth can touch.
Although buying a new strap would probably be easier. Certainly cheaper than getting a black Visodate. ;-)
That said, it sounds like this sub is full of mesh haters, judging from the response your and my post received.
Cape Code Polishing Cloth! Works great to get out scratches. I use on my 18k if there’s ever a scratch that’s bothering me
Buy some polishing clothes on Amazon, wear nitrile gloves while you polish it. When you're done polishing, wipe it with a clean microfiber cloth :)
Cape cod. Put tape over unpolished metal so you're sure you won't brush over it.
I've used this to polish my plain SS watch and it's seemed to work well so far (Cape Cod polishing cloths): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0017H3PIO/
Definitely for the shiny surface!

Will come up looking as good as new.
you can try some Jeweler’s Rouge
maybe even a polishing / buffing cloth like this
Do you think you’d be willing to take another one for the team and try a different polishing method
I feel you brother, the first scratches are usually the ones that hurt the most. Maybe you can try cape code polishing cloth for the bezel (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0017H3PIO/ref=ox\_sc\_saved\_title\_50?smid=A39Y0FDVWNK9NK&psc=1)

As seen on an Abom79 video of course you’ll need to get a decent finish to start with.
Something like that

Just this?

I’ll just wipe it on the clasp? Anything that can go bad with this?
If you are trying to remove smudges/scratches - pick up a high quality microfiber and I honestly use glasses lens cleaner. You need liquid for lubrication so you aren't "rubbing" the surface, but more "buffing" because the liquid is doing all the cleaning/emulsifying. Spray onto the cloth then apply to the watch
Lens cleaner works great for removing oils and such, crystal or metal doesn't seem to matter. Most lens cleaner is designed to be safe for AR coatings

After that, you can use some metal polish or polishing cloths to help level the area around the scratch to "remove" the scratch.
https://www.amazon.com/Cape-Cod-Polishing-Cloths-0-53oz/dp/B0017H3PIO

Note: that you can't really remove a scratch, but you can level the surrounding area so the scratch doesn't exist any more.
Also be very careful when you are using polishing cloths or compound - you don't want to affect any brushed areas or it will change the finish. I don't have too much issue with that personally, just need to be careful.
