I have the same one, and I use a chin strap to keep my mouth closed - I've tried just using mouth tape, but I've found that the p30i straps slide around too much and that the chin strap gives it the friction needed - so maybe try that as an option?

You could get a chin strap to force your mouth to stay closed while you sleep. I use a nasal pillow and when I initially started using my CPAP a couple years ago, I had the same issue. I got a chin strap and it fixed the dry mouth issue for me. If the one you ordered doesn't work, this is one I use. It's better than the other 3 I tried before it, and it's lasted a long time. I don't know that any of them are the be-all end-all, but they do help.

I trained myself to breath only thru my nose. Took a few months with a chinstrap, called Ruby Red, although I don’t have a beard.
