I got this watch from amazon like two years ago. It's my everyday watch and goes with most things.
Try a Casio. Here's one that looks like it's about 32mm (second picture).

Even though it's marketed as a men's watch, it's definitely small enough for a lady. There are a few more colors and dials available. If you search "Casio watch" on Amazon, you can filter the women's fashion department, where you can find smaller ones. Try Timex also.
Noice I Just brought me one of these bad boy for christmas
I don't have prime so it feels like forever every time I order something
I really like this Casio Black Resin watch however I already lost about 5 of them. I am wondering if there is anyway to prevent the watch from falling off of my wrist.
That's a bit subjective, victorinox and citizen also can go on crazy sales.
For me, with wanting a watch that can take a beating, I would just get one of those when they go on sale with the nylon strap.
If you want like a real beater watch then you can get this
edit: that's what I wear when I go to clinical work
I own a bunch of nice watches but I end up wearing this $10 Casio most days of the week, partly because it's so lightweight I forget I'm wearing it. Given how comfortable and reliable it is, I almost feel bad about how little I pay for it.
I also have a tiny wrist and I love this Casio! My labmate liked it so much on me that she ordered one too. I like how small and light it is, the minimalist face, and the price. It's technically a men's watch but the face really is quite small and thin, and the band adjusts fine-- I did end up cutting it so the excess wouldn't flap around everywhere but it was easily accomplished with just a pair of scissors.
I bought a Casio from Amazon which I really liked. Kind of way under your budget, but it works really well and looks way more expensive than it is.

Cheap white hankies $8.99 per dozen from Amazon

What's the more formal/grownup version of this Casio watch?
Must have: small case diameter (<40), black straps, no excessive banding, minimal aesthetic, bonus for lines instead of numbers.
I recommend you strap up with this baby https://smile.amazon.com/Casio-MQ24-1E-Black-Resin-Watch/dp/B000GAWSHM/
Or if you really want to ball out, Timex weekender is a classic https://smile.amazon.com/Timex-Unisex-T2P142-Weekender-Slip-Thru/dp/B00B2I167K/
Right now this $10 Casio is the only slightly dressy watch I have.
I like it but the crystal (plastic?) has gotten more and more scratched from general wear. I don't think I want a nylon band since the watch will get wet frequently if I wear it while working.
I don't have a lot of money to spend but would like to get a slightly nicer analog watch with a date function for under $100. I plan to use this watch while bartending so it will be splashed in triple sinks for a few hours every day. But I might just wear the Casio I have now while working since it's already slightly dickerd and only $10.
So far I've found these two through Amazon:
$29 Timex Easy Reader
If someone had a gun to my head I'd buy the Timex but I'm not in a rush to buy and need to do more research.
I'll link a few more to get an idea of the style I'm looking for. Definitely looking for a smaller watch that won't get in the way or snagged on stuff.
Didn't do much research into those last couple but just linking the style I'm looking for and I'll add some more on. I like high contrast black/white faces but I'm also cool with red/brown/blue accents but the more color neutral the better.
It's this one.
Casio's been making minimal watches right, in my opinion, for a while now.
Cheapest Watch Showdown?
Anyone have any preferences? Are these just going to go dead in a few weeks or are they priced so low because they have minimalistic tendencies?
OK, here is a $10 watch that isn't junk.

A good ol' Casio watch: [link]
Hey! I have 5.5 inch wrists too. I see a lot of people suggesting the Daniel Wellington watch, and I thought I'd provide you with a pic. I have the 36mm one (the smaller size, the men's is 40mm) and it still looks huge on my wrist.
I also have the Michael Kors runway watch (the classic rose one everyone has) which I think is 39mm and it's also huge and chunky looking. I got it before the smaller runway came out. I just looked it up and that one is 33mm, which I think would be perfect for a boyfriend watch. Keep in mind that the lugs makes it look even bigger.
Different style, but I have this men's Casio watch. The small bezel makes it look the perfect size on my wrist. It looks very proportionate. The Amazon page says it's 35mm, but it definitely feels a lot smaller than the DW. It's more like a 32mm.
Hope that was helpful! Make sure to look at the exact dimensions. I think something under 35mm would be perfect.

I got this similar casio. I really wanted one that was convenient and didn't stick out too much.
BS. My $10 casio already has a slight crack on the cheap plastic casing and Ive had it for under 1 year.
