Just to throw this out there. I tried to go all out on my wife's engagement ring & wedding ring but I knew I didn't want anything too fancy and wasn't necessarily concerned with mine matching hers. I bought my ring off Amazon for a whopping $24.00. The same exact ring at many jewelers here in Alaska ran anywhere from $300-$500.
