I only tried the dot matrix versione but they should be similar. For me it's a solid notebook and personally I love the design.

I think about this a lot. I’ve bought so many really nice journals and notebooks and didn’t really write much in them for too long because of the paranoia of someone finding it or it getting lost or damaged or something. So I’ve written my absolute truest feelings in my Penzu journal, an online journal that requires a password. I like using an online journal because I can use it from an app on my phone or on a laptop, and access it anywhere.

However this year I’ve finally started journaling in a real journal. I got this really nice celestial journal and write my thoughts based on journal prompts in it. I just look online or on an IG page I follow and pick a random prompt I want to talk about, then use the question as the title, and write about it. I’d say that it’s as true as it can be yet some part of it feels a bit performative and “lite”. Basically, if I wrote the same prompts in my encrypted online journal, I can’t help but feel like maybe it would be a little more raw. But I’m actively working on that. I don’t like the idea of them being read but I do want to keep them for a while, so I can look back on them and learn about myself in a way I can’t really see right now.
