for a 9mm eyepiece I could spend about 35 dollars but my options are very limited due to less equipment available here, for planetary viewing is this a good eyepiece it will cost me 50 dollars tho

A 6mm celestron? This? I mentioned several times to avoid 6mm Plössl-type due to short eye-relief. If you can, cancel the order / return it.

Not sure if it's any good, I didn't order it. It was actually a gift so hopefully it's at least descent. I thought about getting a 4 but I guess in my ignorance I didn't realize it wouldn't be practical. At least I didn't order it. I'll take a look at the gold line clones since $45 is more than I'd like to spend on an eyepiece right now.

There is a Celestron 6mm from Amazon, is this comparable?

Cool, thanks for the info. I am just going to stick to visual for now! Would this be a good eyepiece for planets? Some of the other 6mm ones take ages to ship to Canada.
