I'm surprised that no one mentioned a reducer. Get the celestron 6.3 reducer/corrector ASAP (http://www.amazon.com/Celestron-Reducer-Corrector-Series-Telescopes/dp/B00009XVHZ). It will widen your FOV and flatten the image. You will literally just keep it on forever. Must have item for an 8se. Changed my 8se into a beast. After that, get a pair of zoom lenses. Celestron zoom is you you are pinched for money OR baader zoom if money doesn't matter. Get a 32mm Plossl from ES or TV eyepiece.
Usually Amazon is not a good place to buy telescope parts, but it is on sale now: https://www.amazon.com/Celestron-6-3-Reducer-Corrector-Telescopes/dp/B00009XVHZ
Btw, Cloudy Nights is a great place for reviews and whatnot.
What about this one?: https://www.amazon.com/Celestron-6-3-Reducer-Corrector-Telescopes/dp/B00009XVHZ
Just out of curiosity, do you have a focal reducer?

I'm still a beginner myself but I have the same scope as you, just a different camera.
Do you also have a focal reducer?
