I picked up my kit at walmart for a similar price for anyone who doesn't want to wait for shipping and wants to try it on their headlights

This is the only one I've found that works worth a crap. I have an 09 G8 GT that had headlights that were horribly oxidized from the sun. Completely yellow. A few years ago I tried the 3M kit and they looked a bit better, but still left a lot to be desired. After that I tried wetsanding and buffing with mothers aluminum polish that worked better than the 3M kit. Last year I tried the Meguires kit with the small buffing wheel that goes in a drill. Looked like shit after it was done, so I wet sanded it again. Due to the fact that Pontiac has closed up, NOS parts ate tough to find. After market headlight buckets run about $260, each, and wasn't nowhere near what I wanted. Looked around a bit before spending $600 on new lights, and ran across this kit. It comes with 8 oxidization remover pads,4 for each light. It also has a small polishing pad and a few light wet sanding disc's, and 2 pads of the protectorate. It took me maybe 2 hours total to do both headlights and I was absolutely AMAZED at the results. Even after the past 4 attempts at fixing them, they look brand new. It worked better than I could've hoped for. Try this kit bud. There are a few videos on YT about it, and it's hard to fuck it up. Easy as can be.
I've used Cerakote on the headlights on my Blob STI. It's been 2 years and still holding up.
Use the cerakote ceramic headlight restoration kit. $16 and stupid easy. Has everything you need in it and I've had great results when I did mine. Would highly recommend before trying to replace them.
I used Cerakote headlight restoration. Worked very well and it requires no tools.

If you are talking about replacing the headlamp assembly and not the light bulb you might want to try this out: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084RQKLV8/ I've used it on a few cars from the early 2000s and it made the whole car look newer. Just check out the customer pictures in the reviews for what it can do.
If you are replacing the lamps themselves that is a different thing feel free to ignore this.
👍 when you have to re-do that one, you may want to look at this if you're hesitant on the 2k spray... I recently used a kit that worked really well on my wife's 12 year old Mazda that were much worse than that. They look brand new now and would use it on mine when the time comes. Cerakote
It looks like you need to refinish the entire lens. Last month, I used the kit below to clean up the headlights on my E92 and am happy with the results. There is enough product in the one car kit to actualy do two cars so it's a great option at $20. https://www.amazon.com/CERAKOTE-Ceramic-Headlight-Restoration-Kit/dp/B084RQKLV8/ref=pd_ybh_a_16?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=0HH5C2GW1EGWZAR9B853
Did the kits have a UV sealer? I used this kit and my headlights have stayed clear.
I got good results by taping off the surrounding areas and doubling the sanding times that the instructions recommend.
I bought a kit from Amazon called Cerakote and it’s the best I’ve used. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084RQKLV8/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o02\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I think this is what they used. I've used this one and got lasting results.
Absolutely incorrect. Here it is. I've used it. It's real and it's good.
I used Cerakote on my fogged up headlights. Easy work and it's held up for about a year now

The 'automotive clear coat' stuff you can spray or wipe on starts to wear within a year. Cerakote has a lifetime warranty.

Yes, the restoration kit had everything in it. I followed the instructions and made sure it was dry before the last step.

just like socks_in_loafers said, Either get a kit from amazon/walmart (I used this one before: https://www.amazon.com/CERAKOTE-Ceramic-Headlight-Restoration-Kit/dp/B084RQKLV8) or sand it down yourself using 400 > 600 > 800 > 1000 grit sandpaper and do two coats 2k spray

The second way is a lot more work, but you'll get a result that'll last much longer.

If you want to wipe there's Cerakote https://www.amazon.com/CERAKOTE-Ceramic-Headlight-Restoration-Kit/dp/B084RQKLV8
I haven't used it myself, but I've seen a few youtube detailers use it with good results.
Most likely a combination of different grades of sand paper plus polishing and plus a clear coat solution at the end.
