It seems that you're implying I traced this image. That is not the case what so ever. Again, in my previous post, I said I definitely pull inspiration from Hydro74 as I aim to become as skilled as he is if not better.
The "awkward shapes in the forehead" are my conscious decisions for the stripes of the tiger.
I appreciate your first post by stating "I'm not meaning to attack", but now you're claiming something absolutely false here (My lines being "perfect".
I don't know how much of a background you have in art, but MANY and MOST artists lean on other artists for inspiration.
There is a famous painter named Jackson Pollock. He makes these sort of drip paintings. The funny thing is, before him was a painter Max Ernst who had influenced many young artists in the 50s who first tried this technique that produced paintings identical to Pollock's. Pollock took that idea, explored it further and took it to higher levels. That is exactly my goal as an artist, I still feel like I've got a lot to explore and a lot to play around with, and I am excited about it!
Let me suggest two books for you to look into, I think they serve as great tools for any artist, even beyond visual art.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, there is an OOOOLD blog from Hydro74 where he talks about tracing. He shares some examples of how he traces other things, and then pushes the design forward based on the original image. I'm still searching for it. Trust me, Hydro is such an inspiration, I've watched all of his talks, read his and watch his content all of the time.
