Why use that word to describe him then?
Have you ever read any of Che's own writings? Understood his thought process?
I highly recommend reading this. It's an amazing look into his life and deeds.
Of course he was no angel, but he recognised that people were suffering under imperialism and wanted to end that, by an means necessary. Unlike the often parroted CIA party line, he wasn't a maniac who enjoyed killing people.
Is any of what Che has done comparable to US backed activity in Latin America?
