monthly meds are a must!
mine take 2 different pills a month. one for heartworms and another for fleas, ticks, and worms. if she hasn't been on heartworm meds before, the vet will run a blood test beforehand to make sure she doesn't currently have them. they need to be sure before prescribing her the medicine. most vets require that heartworm test be done on a yearly basis too, to keep checking that she's healthy. it's a bloodtest and shouldn't be that expensive.
if she had a previous vet, call and get her records. have them sent/give them to the vet you'll take her too. i would take her asap for a general checkup and to get the heartworm medication started.
teeth care!
you can buy a toothbrush/toothpaste set on amazon, with a specific formula toothpaste for dogs. human toothpaste is toxic. my dog lets me brush his teeth but i started with him as a puppy. yours may not like it at first! (or at all.) the veterinary oral health council also has some approved products, i personally like checkups dental treats. but really, nothing beats brushing them.
toys/treats.
some swear by antlers and bones, but here are some of my suggestions based on what you listed. (note, beefhide is different from rawhide. beefhide breaks down in their stomach, rawhide does not. when looking for treats, try to find them usa made too, as we have stricter laws compared to other popular manufacturing countries.) beefhide, yak dog chews, kong brand toys, purebites treats, fruitables treats, godog chew guard toys (she'll probably still rip them up let's be real), chuckit balls.
punishment.
look up positive reinforcement training!
training videos.
