Yeah for sure! I got a headlight kit from amazon, the chemical guys silk shine spray and a spray bottle with dish soap and water. I also had a 24-pack of large microfiber cloths that I fully expected to throw away, and we chucked maybe 12 of them. They were CAKED with dirt. Haha.
I would try to apply an interior dressing product like chemical guys’ silk shine protectant
I use it to hide scuffs on plastic.
This is what it says on Amazon:
"Delivers a durable high-shine finish to rubber, vinyl, black plastics, tires, dashboard and even leather"
I don't know about high shine though. Leather is porous so it seems to me that this product is going to soak into the leather, therefore losing some of its luster...whereas it sits on top of a non-porous surface like pvc. What leather conditioner did you use?
Use a low gloss uv protectant on the dash and upper areas of the door panels.
Use high gloss uv protectant on everything else except the steering wheel.
for cleaning before protecting use a citrus based cleaner.
never spray anything inside your car. always use a detailing brush or microfiber towel. apply liquids directly to your tools. use seperate tools for cleaning vs. protecting.
Always buff all surfaces with a microfiber towel.
NEVER use anything with wood fibers like papertowels or baby wipes. they can cause micro scratches.
