Trimming absolutely sucks balls. Olive oil to take the sticky shit off your hands and sizzors.
If you want to be a star get a pair of these https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0195U2MLA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_VZFB0J6SF8RRNHXCY3V6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Good luck
I just upgraded from the generic vivosun trimmers to some chikamasa flourine coated ones with the curved blade and the two biggest differences between them are the chikamasa don’t collect gunk on em nearly as much (they still do get gooey but not NEARLY as bad and they are SUPER easy to wipe down) and the curved blades really make trimming less of a hassle. I can get a cleaner cut without jabbing all around the buds. Highly recommend them if you’re buying some trimmers. Lemme find a link real quick
I got you fam.
$35 on Amazon (hate that company but what this is the easiest option)
Chikamasa curved is my absolute favorite. They wipe clean from trim gunk super easily and the curved blade makes it really easy to get those pesky leaves that go into your bud sites. A little pricier but imo absolutely worth it.
Im cali too! Not slang. Saying hopefully you got the good trimming scissors ready haha. I wouldn't dare tackle that much trimming without a pair. Makes my hands sore just thinking about it

I’ve bought a couple pairs of scissors like the ones linked. Make a huge difference in my opinion.

Get some nice scissors.
I prefer these curved blade ones but the straight blades are fine too and cheaper.
They aren't spring loaded which are really nice because you get better control. They are very well reviewed and from my experience 100% worth the money. They do get gummed up a tad after a while and have to be scraped, dipped in alcohol then wiped regardless of being resistant but I hear they go longer between cleanings compared to others. here's an Amazon link to the ones I have and love.
Trim bin and 2 pairs of chikimasa japanese bonzai maple pruning shears. Curved flourine coated blade ones with red handles cant rem model no. But theyre on amazon. Both Makes a tedious chore more bearable. Edit one more thing-a accurate 8 soil ph probe. Theyre 50$ but for soil theyre great peace of mind. They also have a built in moisture meter. https://www.amazon.com/Chikamasa-B-500SRF-Scissors-Fluorine-Coating/dp/B0195U2MLA/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=chikamasa+bonsai+cutters&qid=1601427550&sprefix=chikimasa&sr=8-3 https://www.amazon.com/TrimBin-Harvest-More-Trim-Black/dp/B00L4NJSBE/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=trim+bin&qid=1601427595&sprefix=trim+bin&sr=8-3 https://www.amazon.com/CWP-716578-Accurate-Soil-Meter/dp/B0746XC9XB/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=accurate+8+soil+ph+probe&qid=1601427657&sprefix=accurate+8+&sr=8-4 Hed be a happy man with any of those
