I'm thinking about getting an over the door pull up bar to put in my work office.
I guess the sturdiness comes from the fact that it's screwed in right atop the door frame? Can anyone think of a reason I shouldn't do this??
The door ones don't do well because they're generally cheaply made throw-aways that can scrape up the door frame. I actually went with a pull up bar that's solid metal that mounts above the door into the header. You lag screw it in. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done.
