If you're on a budget, the Amazon Chromium Crusher is a great little grinder. I've had it for about 2 years now and it has never failed me. A little bigger (2.5 inches) but well worth the value. I bought it as a temporary until I was of age and could get a good one at a head shop but once I got it I didn't feel the need to upgrade.
I don’t really have to worry about the smell, but I like to use mason jars, they’re pretty smell proof. Buy a grinder with 3 chambers and start grinding all your weed. The kief will fall through a mesh screen in the second chamber and fill up in the bottom of the grinder. You can probably also buy kief at dispensaries although I have never actually purchased it so I am not 100% sure if you can. Chromium Crusher is a good brand grinder

Check out amazon for grinders, specifically a chromium crusher. Its $11. $11!!!!!! Bought one because a friend had an older one. I Ran a zone through the grinder and almost filled up my kief catcher! Seems the newer ones have a better suited screen.
Honestly I dont see the point in dropping a lot of cash on a grinder. As long as its a 4 piece aluminum/ti grinder, I cant justify dropping more than ~$20 on one.

This is the one that I use and it's big and heavy but it gets the job done for under $20. The only problem with it being so much larger than other grinders I've seen is that you'll never get that feeling of having a "full" grinder unless you grind up quarters at a time.

I had one of these grinders, out of personal opinion buy this one :[link].
Downsides of the crank grinder was that the small little handle was hell on the hands, if you pack your grinders full :). Mine ended up snapping the long threaded screw that was in the bottom of the handle. So if you go with this grinder, don't over fill. The grinder I linked to takes as much dope and you want to pack into it, no problems and cheaper :P.
[link] This is the most recent one I got and it is PERFECT. $16 no problem! Also, if you look around on ebay/ other vape sites that are selling that vape, many sites include a free grinder with it (usually a kinda shitty ceramic grinder but it gets the job done just fine.)
Stick to the chromium crusher from amazon. Solid zinc with that heavy premium feel to it. Not cheap ass aluminum like most grinders are these days. Comes in a bunch if different sizes too so you can find one that fits your needs.
I'm guessing no one actually enlarged your photo, since it's hosted like it's 2004. To host in a way the RES (Reddit Enhancement Suite) can display here you must post an url that ends in ".jpg" or whatever file type. Imgur is the best free site for this.
Second Your grind is bad. I don't want to make you feel bad, but you are severely limiting the performance of your box by using herb like this. It should be ground as close to kief consistency as possible.
This picture Demonstrates what your grind should look like. The grind on the left is from a normal 4 piece, the grind on the right is from the Finishing Grinder. Basically Kief. Think it's like $20 on Amazon.
This picture shows a normal 4 piece grind, upside down 4 piece and the FG grind. Just without comparison objects.
As you can see an upside down 4 piece is nearly FG quality grind. Less consistent, but totally usable. If I held the grinder upside down for longer I could probably get all the way there. Or very nearly.
Alternately people will put herb in a pill bottle with a coin and shake it up, to get a fine grind.
If you don't have a grinder This is a great 4 piece that is about as affordable as fancy coffee.
