I haven't seen any studies, but the world wars must have had a significant effect. The sad part is that all of it was mostly unnecessary. In spite of what is taught in schools today, Germany and Japan weren't the only ones responsible. British leadership and the usual suspects are likely deserve a similar amount of blame. But history is written by the victors.

Yes. An unnecessary war that cost Great Britain their empire. A war where "winning" brought about the enslavement of a gigantic portion of the world to communism, and only decline for GB itself. I have no clue why anyone would celebrate this man.
