I always admired this Citizen Eco-Drive because of the way its bracelet tapers seamlessly into the case. I haven't seen any other watch that does it this well.
It's also titanium – I tried it on in a store and it was unbelievably light.
I used to have a watch similar to this. I'd have another one in a heartbeat if I had the spare cash, but next to no interest in a "smart watch". A nice traditional watch can be an attractive piece of jewellery, where I've yet to see any smart watch that looks any better than an ugly kid's g-shock.
Yeah, to echo what /u/Citizen_V said, I have this watch from Citizen and it's very accurate, comfortable, good looking, durable etc. And it's all titanium! What is your price range? This is a little more expensive than the WeWood and Sistem but not that much.
I know you said you werent looking for a dress watch, but i have this if youre interested?
I have one of these. Hard to fault it.
My wife got me this watch for my birthday a year ago. I love it!
I've always thought this Citizen is super classy looking and versatile. Good price and value, including a sapphire face. Not automatic though. Another eco-drive, this one has an interesting look to it. Maybe not versatile enough however.
I love a deal. I bought a Black Mako on Amazon for $58 ("used," but really the box was just damaged), wore it for a while and flipped it for $75. I bought a TIssot PRC200 auto chrono on ebay for $300 and just flipped that for $375, after I got a Hamilton Jazzmaster auto chrono from Jomashop for $870ish; the trick there was I traded-in some old textbooks to Amazon and bought the watch from Joma there, so it was only 600 something out of pocket. I also got an Eco-drive Titanium with sapphire crystal for $160 on Amazon, normal price $220; probably keeping that one.
