Seeking Tips for Cleaning / Maintenance of Clarks Leather Boots

Hello, I have a pair of Clarks leather chukka boots that I like, and after maybe 5-10 nights out with them, they're getting a little beat up.

I was seeking some general advice or suggestions for how to clean or maintain them. Not sure if I'm overthinking it, but I'd like to make them last and they could use some a little refresher.

Clark's CDB's... Do people size down?

I've been wearing a crepe sole pair (size 12) for awhile... but just ordered some new ones with the leather soles. They feel A LOT tighter then my crepe sole pair.. maybe because they're not broken in? They're both size 12.

I'm just wondering if I got a size too small because according to Amazon 64% say this fit as expected. All other shoes I wear size 13.
