Ill add it to my "List of stuff to read". Thanks. In return, one of my favourite books about a young guy facing adversity is Cockeyed by Ryan Knighton, it is memoir of a guy that started going blind in his late teens. It is actually pretty funny, but quite powerful at the same time.
Cockeyed by Ryan Knighton is one of those books where you read what it was like for someone with a seemingly 'throw in the towel' situation, tell that bunk situation to piss off then proceed to kick said situations ass along the way. I was in a big funk when I read it and I finished it with a new look at the way I was living and how I was forgetting the advantages I have.
For something completely off the wall and fun, grab some Christopher Moore paperbacks and have fun! I would suggest Fluke - Or, I know why the winged whale sings.
