These work great for light stuff maybe 1/2” thick or so max. Less bending over if trying to cut at ground level and also makes a good snake head lopper. Buck has a new 110 out with pocket clip and upgraded steel. The s30v steel would work really good it just wont take abuse like bucks 420 steel. Spyderco makes a wicked serrated hawkbill or wharncliff that would make quick work too. They are great on thick heavy grape vines and such. Cheers!
