>All I am saying, it's no different than RFE/RL, both are government sponsored propaganda "news" organizations. Both are pushing government agendas, both are NOT reliable news sources. Both are extremely biased. Neither one is independent and that's the problem.
They don't try and promote any agenda. They report on reality. They don't selectively report on pro-western issues and ignore anti-western news, like RT does. If anything, they're much, much less biased than RT and much more reliable. Do not say just because they are both propaganda that each should be dismissed. They aren't equals at all.
>It's all bullshit PR fluff that only idiots will believe in.
Go pick up some history books then. RFE/RL reporters and journalists are heroes to many people. They played a big part in the Cold War and helped save many people. This isn't PR. It's reality. It's not a spur-of-the-moment thing like reporting on bombing campaigns, as your example. It was a multi-decade struggle. Many were murdered because they tried to spread the truth in dictatorships. Even if they were financed by the CIA, you can't downplay the millions they gave news to, the millions that secretly huddled around radios at the dead of night, away from authorities, to hear the truth about their own country.
