https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004E4AVY8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_NKQBQEC0CQQVK4ZQ9RME?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 I like this tent. it's solid enough for regular use for my kids. they can set it up and take it down np and has nice utility. Definitely a bit heavy if you're backpacking. also a warning utah is 100°+ going in to next week and I'd bet AZ is as hot or hotter. pending when you're planning, unless you're staying in the mountains in Utah I'd recommend finding a yurt or cabin near where you're wanting to visit so you have a place to cool down in-between adventures
This is the tent I bought. Its not on sale on amazon prime anymore but you could find it other places online. It fully zips up on all the windows so it should hold out most of the dust that would come through a mesh tent.
This is the best tent I’ve ever owned. It truly goes up in about 1 minute. It has telescoping poles so no hassle poking poles into pockets or worrying about them snapping.

You guys sound like you're bragging about setup time so let me tell you about this dude.
I don't backpack camp so the weight isn't an issue, and most importantly my wife wanted something that she could easily help with if I wanted her to come camping with me.
Get an REI or a Kelty tent.
It's just generally you could buy 3 coleman tents for the price of an REI tent, and the quality is 90 percent there.
I did a large car camping trip with my marmot backpacking tent. Worked okay, but lots of setting up and such.
I plan on buying this eventually: http://smile.amazon.com/Coleman-2000018016-4-Person-Instant-Cabin/dp/B004E4AVY8/ref=sr_1_14?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1465170990&sr=1-14&keywords=quick+tent
for car camping.
This would not be good for lightweight bugging out, but i like my coleman instant tent. Super easy setup. Pretty bulky to transport though. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B004E4AVY8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_VrtwFbCRRHKPS
If you're going mostly solo camping, I'd go with something like this: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B004E4AVY8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It goes up so fast! I reluctantly bought one about 2 years ago, and it was such a great purchase! No more dicking around with sliding poles through and popping up a tent when you're by yourself sucks. This makes it way easier. I know a lot of dudes like the rooftop tents or truck bed tents, but those things are expensive and take up a lot of space. This is a really easy solution.
I assume this is for car camping?
What was the difficulty you had with the older tent? I had an old cheap tent that lasted many outings, but it was a pain to set up with fiberglass poles and pole-sleeves, the ferrules would always get stuck in the sleeve. The layout of the poles and fly weren't obvious, it was easier after I used some colored yarn on the corners of the tent body and fly and matching tape on the poles to quickly orient everything.
Right now REI has their Kingdom 4 tent on sale, it's a popular tent but it does have several poles which some may find more difficult to set up. The extra poles allow the tent to have near vertical walls so it just feels a lot roomier than those that only have two poles. It's a solid tent and at that price is a really good deal.

The Coleman Instant Tent is simple to set up, but since the poles need articulation it's a very heavy tent. It doesn't have a full coverage fly so if you're expecting foul weather you have to zip everything up and it can get really stuffy inside. But it's popular because it's so easy and quick to set up and 1/4 the (regular) price of the REI Kingdom.

I've got a Kelty Trail Ridge 4(older model) that use for 2-3 people car camping, and a Kelty Mantra 6 when we go with 4+ people. The 4P Kelty has 3 poles and is relatively easy to set up, the 6P only has 2 poles so it's easy to set up, but with such long poles it's harder to maneuver the poles by yourself.
Wirecutter (NY Times) has some family camping tent reviews and recommendations.

When car camping weight/bulk is often not a huge deal so it's nice to be able to bring a bigger tent to have more space to relax. Some like even bigger 8P, 10P tents, but living in the northeast I typically have to deal with crowded campsites with lots of trees, sometimes it's hard to find space for a huge tent, or if you find one you may not be able to orient it the way you like. And if you've got a sedan with 4 people, if you're doing some biking or climbing while camping, you may have a lot more gear so you may not have much room in the trunk. So some may want to go with a smaller tent.
If you're backpacking, a 4P tent is probably a bit lighter than two 2P tents, but the body of the tent will take up a lot of room one one person's pack, so you may need to divvy up the other gear to even out the load. We also have some loud snorers, so while a solo tent may weigh more, it's nice to be able to set up a tent further away.
Good luck!
I use a kodiak, but realistically, I think people overdo it way too much with these $1500 tents. A shitty tent under a conduit shade structure with 90% shade cloth will work fine.
I'd recommend the coleman instant up: https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Cabin-Instant-Camping-Seconds/dp/B004E4AVY8?th=1 (I think it's this one but that's from a quick google search)
Runs about $125, sets up in a minute, you can stand up and walk around in it. Back when I was running a larger camp I was pushing to give away all our hexayurts for these.
You can use a figjam, though I don't particularly find it necessary, with good shade cloth I could easily sleep till 11 if I wanted.
I'm on my second one just like this, it's been a pleasure to car camp with.

The Coleman instant tents are amazingly easy to set up and take down. They aren't lying about the 60 second setup time and it's easily done solo. Take down isn't much longer. They have almost vertical sides and are pretty tall, so they are almost 5 ft height throughout.
The 4 person is $100 on Amazon right now. https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Cabin-Instant-Camping-Seconds/dp/B004E4AVY8?th=1
It's a fairly large (47"x9"x10") and heavy (18 lbs) tent, so very much a car camping tent. The bag has a folded over part that can be optionally expanded to make packing it easier, but once it has been cut, it is always expanded, so you have to decided between more compact storage or easier packing. That said, with a bit of work, I can fit the tent + optional rainfly + stake / mallet / dustpan kit without having cut the expansion flap.
Accessories worth considering:
rainfly (more protection than built-in one): https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Instant-Rainfly-Accessory-4-Person/dp/B006GJ8NX0
stake / mallet / dustpan kit: https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-2000016526-Tent-Kit/dp/B0009PUQ8M
They also make larger models, but the 4-person should be a good comfortable size for 2 people.
I highly recommend my Coleman instant tent. Amazon also has these on sale today. 4 and 6 person models for $65 and $88 (even less if you get the returned/warehouse items). I have the 6 person and can set it up myself fully in 10 minutes or less. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004E4AVY8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Fdx5Db9CKF4Q0 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004E4ERHA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_gdx5DbNY3ZHR3
I recommend this tent: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004E4AVY8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If your just car camping this is a great tent for a quick set up. We got one as a wedding present 5yrs ago and it's still great and super easy. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004E4AVY8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_CAgLCbE7XYR8G

I found this one, seems easy enough to get up and down.
