I have the Colman 2 burner stove with the 5 lbs tank adapter. Worked great for when we had a 4 day power outage. I used it in the kitchen next to open window and did not set off the co2 alarm. After 4 days still had more than 3/4 propane left in tank. Colman 2 burners
Yes no fires or open flames. If something were to catch fire in the campgrounds the entire lot would be up in flames in minutes. We bring a Coleman campstove linked here
If you are car/base style camping (not backpacking) and love cooking - the Pocket Rocket is a bad choice.
You should look into a dual burner propane camp stove. Like the Coleman or Camp Chef brands.
Then your pots & pans options become much wider. You can even take stuff from your home kitchen.
I put all my 'kitchen stuff' into 1 big tupperware. It's organized for packing that way - and I can box it up at night so rain / animals don't get into it.
