I buy it on Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/Collagen-Peptides-Hydrolyzed-Grass-Fed-Certified/dp/B00XQ2XGAA
It’s certified Paleo, Keto and non-GMO, derived from pasture raised grass fed cattle.
I’ve been taking it for over 6 months now. For my joints, I could feel results in about three weeks. At two months my joint pain issues reduced about 40%. I noticed my hair was growing like crazy at around six weeks.
At the five month mark I noticed that I was regaining flexibility and could walk for long periods without any pain. This really works for me!
Collagen peptides have been LIFE CHANGING! I noticed results in 10-14 days, I’ve been consistent for 2 years now, in addition to the bumps on my arms, legs, cystic acne it also started regrow on the hair I lost after my first baby, it’s incredible. Start out with 2 scoops and then you can go down to the recommended 1 scoop a day. I wouldn’t recommend skipping more than 2-3 days. I’ve tried a couple different brands, this has been my favorite.

For sure let it grow. My cheeks look very similar to yours. Im at roughly 3 months now and its starting to fill in somewhat decently. my facial hair seems to grow slowly though. I had half-assedly attempted beards in the past bu gave up because of the sparse cheek growth, but one day my wife bought some collagen powder to mix with her coffee in the morning, its good for joints and stuff so I started using it too, but the weird thing is that my facial hair started growing more than it ever has in my life. im not sure if its just a coincidence, but it may be something to look into. if you care this is the stuff i use. I put a little less than a full scoop in my coffee every morning ( it is tasteless, but doesnt dissolve in cold drinks well) Collagen Peptides Powder | Hydrolyzed for Better Collagen Absorption | Non-GMO Verified, Certified Keto Friendly and Gluten Free - Unflavored
This is the one I bought from Amazon. You can buy in either powder or tablet/capsule form; however I prefer powder as I can just dissolve a scoop in water. When buying collagen make sure it contains Type I and Type III which are the ones that are known to support nail and hair growth.
I think the brand I use is from Sport Researchsport research. It has 10g protein, 40 cals, and No sweeteners.
I have been using this one for the last 5 or so years. I initially started taking it to protect my joints as I aged, not necessarily for my hair so I can't say definitively at what point I noticed the improvement. My hairstylist just always comments on how healthy it is, and how quickly it grows. I also noticed that I don't lose as much hair in the shower and in my brushes.
Collagen has also done wonders for my skin and nails.
It is a protein, and you'll stop producing it as you age, it helps your bone, skin, muscles, tendons and cartilage, it's also what keeps your skin from sagging, so when you start producing less, guess what? Sagging skin, especially noticeable on your face. Click the link I left, that is the kind I use (make sure it has peptides), I really do see a difference, not facelift difference, but some difference.
This is the product I use and have been happy with it. I’ve been using collagen powder for a few years and have definitely seen results. Here’s what I use. I put it in my morning coffee and can’t taste a thing.
The Dose & Co is $25 for 10oz and the one I use is $28 for 16oz.

I’m getting no benefits from sharing this other than recommending taking some type of collagen products daily.
Sports research brand is my favorite and the best value - I recommend plain flavor so you can add to anything (soup, tea, coffee, etc)

ok so I had never been able to grow a beard. After a few failed attempts that resulted in shaving because of super sparse cheeks (even after about 3 months) I decided that it wasnt in the cards for me and just did stubble for a number of years. One day I started taking collagen powder for joint health and other non-beard related benefits. I quickly realized that my facial hair was growing better than it ever had. Im not sure if it was a coincidence or what but I decided to keep with it. I also made some bad mistakes cutting my neck line... Im committed to letting it go for at least a year to see what I can really do, but the spots under my jaw by the ears have me concerned. Im hoping that once it does start to grow longer those spots wont make the beard look super scraggly. should I be concerned?
Ooooh I think you're right about the face yoga I'm glad you said something. I did some reading and found that something that works for a lot of people is drinkable collagen. After reading these Amazon reviews I think I'm going to try it out https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XQ2XGAA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_Ro3yCbGEDDMSK

Absolutely.
I did a lot of research and found this brand on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Collagen-Peptides-Grass-Fed-Certified-Friendly/dp/B00XQ2XGAA/ref=sxts_sxwds-bia-wc-drs1_0?cv_ct_cx=collagen+powder&dchild=1&keywords=collagen+powder&pd_rd_i=B00XQ2XGAA&pd_rd_r=5ca5787c-18dc-42cb-b40f-242ea80f...
It has almost 48,000 positive reviews on Amazon. And it is more affordable than the brand that is often promoted by the influencers on Instagram.
I have bought it 4 times and have noticed big differences on my skin and joint pain. My husband is currently losing weight so he started using it too.
Just put one scoop in hot water, tea or coffee. I personally don't notice any taste or smell.
Absolutely.

Here is the one I take. Just add to my morning smoothie. Great for joints, bones and skin. collagen
In the meantime I suggest you supplement with Collagen protein like this one...Collagen Peptides Powder (16oz) | Grass-Fed, Certified Paleo Friendly, Non-Gmo and Gluten Free - Unflavored https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XQ2XGAA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Tz9CCb0P7H702
https://www.amazon.com/Collagen-Peptides-Grass-Fed-Certified-Friendly/dp/B00XQ2XGAA
I have one scoop of this every morning in my coffee or oatmeal and in about a month or two I noticed a huge difference. Looking through the reviews on Amazon and searching acne or breakouts will tell you more about it!
Are you taking a collagen supplement? You won't see the effects immediately, but I tore my ACL back in August and started taking it to aid in my recovery. Who knows if it's helped my ACL but my hair / skin / nails look amazing. It's also an easy way to pad your diet with 10 extra grams of protein. This is the one i'm using - one scoop in my tea in the mornings - it dissolves completely and is tasteless. A word to the wise though, it can cause stomach upset at first, so start with a tiny bit and build up to a full scoop. https://www.amazon.com/Hydrolyzed-Collagen-Peptides-Dietary-Supplement/dp/B00XQ2XGAA?th=1
I feel ya though. I'm also cutting and it's a chore. Going to bed hungry is no fun but the last few months were pretty indulgent for me so I keep trying to remember how much I enjoyed those and telling myself it was worth it to have to do this now! Hang in there.
I use this every day for extra protein in my BPC. It's tasteless. So much so that when my 6 and 9 year-old niece and nephew tried just the powder (I told them it was ground bones, lol) they said it didn't taste like anything.
I had the same problem! I make my third one with almond milk only to avoid going over on fat.
Collagen powder has been a godsend to me. A scoop adds 10g of protein and it dissolves amazingly well with no leftover taste. I currently use this brand: https://www.amazon.com/Collagen-Peptides-Grass-Fed-Certified-Friendly/dp/B00XQ2XGAA/ref=sr_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1511795880&sr=8-4&keywords=collagen%2Bpowder&th=1
I personally cannot stand most protein powders, even Isopure.
I tried a couple whey powders and just could not stand the taste they added. That seems to really be a personal preference thing though.
Collagen dissolves easily and mixes great in an immersion blender. It's more expensive and doesn't add a ton of protein through. I just wanted my BPC to have some amount of protein.
I use this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XQ2XGAA/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_apa_vfjbAbEZCXSH7
When you say your hands do you mean your palms or the tops? Or both?
I've been taking collagen daily and it's fixed my dry hands. The skin between my knuckles was cracking and bleeding occasionally... not anymore!
This is the specific stuff I've used: https://www.amazon.com/Collagen-Peptides-Grass-Fed-Certified-Friendly/dp/B00XQ2XGAA/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1496418976&sr=8-1&keywords=sports+research+collagen
I alternative between Great Lakes and Sports Research Here
I should note that for my elbow (which injured while doing overhead presses. Worst lifting injury i've ever had), I tried almost everything to heal it, and it was still causing me pain after heavy workouts. Now not only is there no pain, but it also helped the crackling in my knee's.
Regarding skin, i've noticed much less acne. However for mental enhancement, haven't noticed anything.
I just bought a collagen on Amazon. Someone said it was a must have for Lymes. Too early to tell, but here is the link if you want to read some reviews and information. collagen
This one is a “C” on FakeSpot, sad, but about the best I’ve found so far: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XQ2XGAA/ref=sns_myd_detail_page I’m interested in recommendations for better.
I use a brand called Sports Research and I get it from Amazon. Collagen Peptides Powder (16oz) | Grass-Fed, Certified Paleo Friendly, Non-Gmo and Gluten Free - Unflavored https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XQ2XGAA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_6i74BbBFAVMNQ
I like this one from amazon!
This one was my go-to collagen supplement, and I would just buy whatever biotin supplements were at the grocery store, usually Nature’s Bounty brand. 👍🏻
I use this one. I have one scoop in my coffee every morning.

This is the top hit on Amazon for hydrolyzed collagen.
You need to eat four servings a day, and that pound will only last you one week = $100 a month.
I don't know about the specific injections she was talking about, but she was generally speaking about Collagen Peptides. You can buy the powder form on Amazon. I take this one -
Metformin doesn't cause hair loss. Have you looked into thyroid testing? Additionally, I would ask a dermatologist about spironolactone - it's a great medication that is used for acne and it helps to prevent further hair loss. I totally get it, I have a thyroid disorder as well as diabetes and it's so frustrating. I've had anxiety attacks and cried over the amount of hair I've lost in the last 4 years. Currently taking vitamin d, methylfolate + b12, iron, and this collagen powder: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XQ2XGAA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Started the iron and b12 recently but that collagen powder is great. It has protein in it, no taste, it dissolves really fast in water, great in smoothies, and I've definitely felt a difference in my hair and my nails have grown longer and stronger. It's not a cure all but it helps. In the hashimoto's subreddit, a lot of people ask about hair loss as it's a major side-effect. And for every success story, it seems the only way to stop the hair loss and to get your hair back is to cut out carbs.
You can also try viviscal, that's supposed to be great. Also recommend limiting styling and dying your hair, try not to wear it up in a ponytail too much and if you do, use the spiral hair ties (phone cord ones) so that it doesn't pull your hair out.
Good luck bb, I know it sucks. I'm in the boat with you.
Dr. Dray goes through the research on Collagen and several studies have shown that ingesting Collagen increases skin hydration, increases collagen and elastin in the skin, makes skin more elastic, reduces the appearance of cellulite, decreases eye wrinkles, reduces wrinkle depth, increases the smoothness of skin, and reduces the visible signs of aging. Subjects also report an improvement in their quality of life. Studies have also shown there have been no adverse outcomes for ingesting Collagen. Dr Dray says there is lots of research happening but all research so far has been promising and positive. And she believes Collagen will eventually be a common treatment for many skin conditions.
But she said Collagen is only effective if it is ingested. Applying collagen topically only temporarily increases skin hydration. She also warned that Collagen may not work for everyone. .
She discuses the studies in this video. https://youtu.be/z2PLnQtpEmk
I personally have used Collagen and it definitely works for me. I have taken Collagen for about 6 months and it definitely decreased the wrinkles around my eyes and my mouth. And it improved the pain in my hip, shoulders and knees (I played volleyball in HS and College and the joints on my right side of my body were destroyed). I believe in it so much that I put it in my husband's tea everyday and I recommend it to all of my friends.
I use this brand https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XQ2XGAA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_XBJsFb42M3SQR.
It has 45,000 reviews from verified purchases. And they don't give you any incentives (ex. Free supplements) for a 5 star review.
Thanks I use this one Premium Collagen Peptides (16oz)... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00XQ2XGAA?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
OH! I have opposite problem now. lol
I have pcos and hair in places I don't want it. However my nails were getting sooo dry and brittle and hair was not falling out but was getting very icky dry and no lustre.
about a month ago I started using collagen. it's soooo amazing! I add it to my keto desserts, bone broth soup, and protein shakes. Pretty much I just toss a spoonful in when I cook most things.
My nails are strong again, my skin and hair looks much much healthier. Here is the one I use becuase it's a good price compared to most: https://www.amazon.com/Collagen-Peptides-Hydrolyzed-Grass-Fed-Certified/dp/B00XQ2XGAA/ref=sr_1_4_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1529165519&sr=1-4&keywords=collagen
and a link to dr. axe about benefits of it https://draxe.com/what-is-collagen/
has 0 carbs and 10 grams protein (lots of essential amino acids) per scoop
I've tried a couple, but this is my favorite for the price/size of container. https://www.amazon.com/Hydrolyzed-Collagen-Peptides-Dietary-Supplement/dp/B00XQ2XGAA/ref=sr_1_5_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1516907802&sr=8-5&keywords=collagen+powder
for collagen I have used this brand http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XQ2XGAA?psc=1
and this magnesium http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Q78C1EW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01
the magnesium you rub into your muscles and joints you DO NOT want to put it on your face or any other sensitive area though
