Thank you for your insights. Will definitely stock up on SPF 35-50.
Do you have a wide brim hat recommendation? Saw this and it looked good for the price https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0058YU2DS/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER. The buff is definitely in and I can bring a headtorch I have.
The Bose are mostly for the flights, because I hate airport/airplane noise. I won't pull them out of my bag much.
Protection from bites is a must. Got a mosquito net for 2 people, and will bring a sleep sack if it fits and permethrin everything for sure.
Is there a water bladder you recommend as well as iodine tablets? Don't want to pack too much bulk.
I will bring 2 t-shirts and 1-long sleeve button up and 1 short sleeve button up. Now I'm thinking I might need to cut some weight though.
Columbia Bora Bora hat during the day, with sides tied up in the morning and evening: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0058YU2DS/
Hoods of various kinds at night and when it's cold. I'm thinking of getting a merino buff for sun and wind protection when I don't want to wear a hat, or when I need more than what the hoods provide.
when I was searching they seemed not as round as I was thinking her hat was, unless maybe I had a different filter on. I did like this one a lot, since I should be able to cut the hole in it easy

Found the Columbia Bora Bora booney hat a better option, due to the mesh on the sides (better ventilation): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0058YU2DS/
That’s probably it, plus replace electrolytes with an occasional sports drink. I used to save an old bottle, fill it up at home and freeze it. Then around noon when it had some time to melt I’d shake it up and drink a bit, then do the same throughout the afternoon. It stays cool for a long time and really helps.
Being out in the sun can seriously drain you. Wear a hat, especially one that has a good brim. Even a baseball cap won’t be good enough at times. A men’s sun hat like this or this is functional and looks good. Try to cover exposed skin with a light covering, something very breathable like a open weave or mesh is great. Wear sun block - tanning looks good but too much will not only hurt, it will also drain you because it’s doing damage to you.
Make sure to have the damp cloth around your neck, it helps a ton. Just a light bandana or similar, tie it loosely around your neck and dampen it once in a while. The wicking of sweat and water will cool you off quite a lot, especially because it’s around the arteries that supply blood to your head.
People have been working outdoors in the heat for a long, long time. It’s just a matter of a few tricks and getting toughened by the experience enough to have it stop bothering you. If you keep it up by the end of the summer you’ll be pretty damn proud you did it and you’ll be able to tackle a lot more hard stuff too.
I keep a Columbia Bora Bora Booney II in my truck for when I need a little UV protection. $30 via Amazon Prime.
