Not during the 2-1/2 years, but in the years following sugar has crept back in. It's a constant battle. I'm having good success recently doing a 48 hour fast of only water and coffee. I eat dinner on Sunday evening, and then nothing but black coffee and water until Tuesday evening when I eat dinner. It's been working great for me over the last couple of months.
Jason Fung is a guy you should read, his book The Complete Guide to Fasting will really open your eyes on the subject.
During my recent 15 day fast, I bought this book on my amazon kindle that's written by a very experienced Doctor who outlines everything and anything you need to know about losing that weight through fasting and nutrition, as well as tips for a healthy lifestyle in the future.
